I know it contains cereals etc but surely if you have started weaning before 6 months then it isn't as if it is something new to their diet?
I only ask as I got a free sample in the post a few days ago and think DD will be like DS and start weaning at about 4.5/5 months. :flower:

I would think its as you've said, they have to put 6 months as thats the recommended weaning age.

I would agree, probably as it is recommended to be 6mths.
We bought some to try and it made no difference at all....!
Still got two tins left.

The only reason I can think of is if the cereals contain wheat as that's not recommended before 6 months?

Yeah, I would say in case it contains wheat as they can't have that before 6 months even if they're weaned before. Also, some post 6 month milks (like follow on milk etc) have different levels of nutrients that are fine for baby after 6 months but may not be at the right levels for pre 6 months.
