Why do I read the daily mail???

An absolutely shocking piece of journalism. Pretty much on par with the usual tosh that the Daily Fail turf out. I'm putting money on the "journalist" being a sacked GCSE English exam marker ;)

Scare tactics from an uneducated birth wannabe expert ... no doubt they'll be slagging off hospital births next week.

In fact it was the next day, an article saying how the NHS had failed to spot a woman in labour and sent her home only for her to give birth in the car parks when she returned.

Well I went from being a home birth hopeful to a hospital induction due to going past 42 weeks. I was surrounded by all the medical equipment & doctors you could imagine!

As the hospital rule is to only check you every 4 hours no matter how much you scream/beg then by the time I was checked, I was pushing him out (on a ward with 4 other ladies who weren't in labour). I was rushed to the labour ward while pushing my baby out, having been giving no pain relief at all as the midwife claimed they had no idea I was even in labour!

Hospital rules and regulations make labour a lot more difficult then it needs to be during a "normal" labour. I think medical advances are amazing, but a home birth would have been much better for me!

I saw this piece of crap journalism the evening it came out. To be frank I wasn't really surprised when I looked at the name of the author.

Below are some of her other brilliant pieces.

Home educators are "proselytising zealots" https://www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/...ducation-better-school-says-CAROL-SARLER.html

Bosses should distrust women who don't want children as they are weird https://www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/...-children--VERY-outspoken-mother-ex-boss.html

Autistic children wreck lives https://www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/...truth-Having-autistic-child-wrecks-life-.html

Home birth is dangerous, hospital is dangerous, I guess you're just gonna die no matter what if you have a baby

That's why you never see babies around. Maybe these journalists are on to something. ;)
