Why do some people get SOOO mad at Read & Run????

I'm very guilty of not replying.... Either because -
1- don't have a clue what they are on about
2- have nothing to add
3- think they are talking tripe
4- they are discussing the same topic as someone two threads below but worded the title differently; why not just discuss on the thread that already exists?
5- simply don't want to, feel like lurking
6- if they have particularly said "don't r&r"... I don't like to be told when to reply!

I R&R sometimes, but only if it's nonsense stuff. Like "Oh I hate my MIL!" I have no advice with nasty MILs because all my serious boyfriend's have never had a mother. So therefore, no nasty MIL to bother with!

I won't R&R if it's in the loss section or talking about a loss. Sometimes I worry that they think I'm stalking them, but really, I just browse everywhere. Sometimes a thread titles catches my eye on the main page and I just start clicking away..

 yes we do, STALKER!!!! :haha: Nope, its nice that you offer support and hugs to us.

I dont understand the R&R thing either, cos most of the time when I see angry responses it is like 9 people viewed and a question like should I have milk chocolate bar or a dark chocolate bar?

I dont get while people get mad either. I R&R all the time. Actually, if I've got a concern or question on something in particular, I will do a search. No sense in creating a new thread if I can find all the answers I'm looking for from months ago or so.

^^^This is a VERY serious question.... not only should you answer questions like this immediately but you also need to post the obligatory amount of smileys as well...

Anyone noticed the amount of views compared to replies on this thread?!

I admit, I am a R&R person ... I even R&R'd this thread atleast 3 times

If I post something and I don't get any replies then it doesn't bother me in the slightest, don't get me wrong it's nice if I do but I don't expect it.

People who create the threads "I'm sick to bloody high heavens of R&R people they should all be burned on the stake" need to get a grip with reality  .. We all have lives away from BnB although it does consume 40% of mine now :haha:

Well done for admitting you have a R&R problem, we will help you recover.

I R&R all the time, especially if it's a fight

And what i dont get, esp for those of us who dont get why they get so upset, is why we then feel the need to write, "sorry, no advice but didnt wanted to R&R", i know some people expect it, but surley thats just silly? I do it, but because i feel guilted into it and everytime i just think, what was the point of that?

Different if they are upset and your leaving a hug and trying to give comfort but saying you dont have advice, but just generally like the above rotarical chocolate question, whats the point of responding if you dont have something to say?

Anyway, lol, thats my rant over.

And btw, for the chocolate one - both! yum yum x
