If I am only going to be supplementing some pumped milk once a day or so, would wide neck bottles help prevent nipple confusion or does it not matter?

Not sure if it matters. We use first years breast flow. We haven't had any problems switching back and forth!

We just got first years Breastflow a few days ago and I am excited about trying as it looks very different to other bottles and a lot more like a breast. :)

I've heard gread things about breastflow.
We had a ton of issues anyway and poor baby was totally confused, lol. We like the Playtex drop-ins... you burp the air out of the bag and there is no air to be let in. With the bottles where air has to trickle back in, I found it trained my son to pop on and off my breast since that was what he was used to. Nice, wide nipples... latex is softer than the silicone teats/nipples (more like breast), but the silicone comes in a slower flow
