You can't reach your cervix?!

I'm taking it vaginally and can nowhere near reach my cervix? So I've just inserted it as high as I can and hoped for the best! Will this still work? Has anyone any experience in it working this way? I've used the 1000mg capsule xx

I've never thought of how far back it should be inserted etc.

what i would do is elevate your hips some so when the pill pops the oil will flow back that's my suggestion. But don't elevate too high so baby isn't in your pelivs if that makes since

My midwife told me to get it as close to my cervix as possible and lay down on my side (I also put a thin pillow under my hip so it flows in rather than out). She said if it doesn't get far enough in, it can actually do more harm than good in the sense that it can make the vaginal opening to soft and make you more prone to tearing :/
