Will my Dr be able to find the heartbeat with a doppler at 11+1 weeks?

My dr is going on vacation, so I will be having my 12 week check up on Friday, a week early. I'm hoping he'll be able to find the heartbeat with a doppler and provide me a little reassurance before my 12 week scan next Friday. I'll be 11+1. Do you guys think he'll be able to find it? What are your experiences? Thanks

Definitely should be able to. I found mind at home at about 9.5 weeks.
