Titi, I'd hate to say it but relaxing is probably the best thing to do. Even I got my bfo when I didnt 'try'to get pregnant in April because I knew I was going to the RE to start treatment so I just did it 3 times that month.....but maybe its not about relaxing......I dont know, sometimes I feel that way.

As for me, AF got me this morning. You'd think after all these months, it wouldn't bother me as much, but each month it gets harder and harder.

Titi - that was an AWESOME story. But I'm super sad your very expensive, personal toy became a dog toy. I have a hand blown glass toy that I really like, it is gorgeous. My hubby got it for me when we lived on opposite sides of the country. Bad dog! Which one was it?

HoneyBee these mere emoticons cannot express how stoked I am for you. Just like Julia you had your first FS appointment, were gearing up for more, and fell preggers. That is pretty badass And just like you guessed, it happens right when you get a job promotion This is terrific news! So completely stoked for you and yours.

ha Jaimie-I'm not sure who was the culprit......will never know as I didn't catch anyone in the act. You should have seen how confused were were the first hour or so wondering where the heck it could have gone-until it started to sink in that obviously somepuppy moved it.

I did go to a meeting yesterday with a gal that recommended me for the job she is leaving. She works for U.S. Representative Gabrielle Giffords. I would love to get her job - if I got it I would handle solar and immigration issues for Gifford's Tucson office. How cool would that be?

titi, sadly, i think relaxing does help. Funny, coz I remember saying to my dh before the fs 'if anyone tells me to f*cking relax I'll punch them in the face'. lol.
But yeah, I ov'd in thai, right at the start of the trip, so i guess i have a baby noodle in my belly. Thai I shall call him, or maitai. lol.

I started acu this cycle, i blame that totally. I had my first appointment cd7 and the second one on cd13. It made me ov around 5 days earlier than normal.
Also, I drunk a lot more water, at least 2 litres a day (acu lady said it's good for kidneys which are vital for fertility) and i altered my diet so i ate a big breakfast, medium lunch, and small dinner, and ate loads more protein than i would do normally. had bacon and eggs for breakfast every day!!!
and i'd been low alcohol for 3 months which may have helped.

and yeah being on holiday helped, i was really chilled out. We dtd thurs night, sat night, mon night (pos opk), tues night, wed night, thurs night, fri night........ pretty much every night of our holiday!! it was amazing, hot sex, hardly ever in the 'right position' to conceive lol.

Well, not to ruin the moment, but I have no idea what is going on with my body!!! I am on day 12 and I have already started rebooting!!! What is up with this??? I have stopped poas for a while because I don't wanna spend any more money for something that is never gonna happen!!! I lost my thermometer so I haven't been temping... so I am lost!!!! I dunno which is worse temping and knowing what is coming or not temping and not knowing what is coming???

Morning girls! I just wanted to jump on and let you know that I am going to be pretty busy over the next 2 weeks with school work, marking and report cards. I have heart palpitations just thinking about everything that needs to be done!!! EEKKKKK!!!!
I'll still check in quickly from time to time but I probably wont be posting much. I need to be really disciplined right now and not allow myself to procrastinate. After week eight all my school responsibilities will be finished with and I can cruise on into christmas fun stuff! I hope to come back to some super dooper bfp's! Miss you girls already

Morning

So last night i did a cheapo 10miu and got a faint line (15dpo), and this morning, i did a 25miu one and got another faint line. Then I did a digi opk and got a smiley face. So I bit the bullet, dug out my emergency digi hpt, and got..... 'pregnant 1-2 weeks'. I can't believe it. I don't feel pregnant at all.......!!!! So excited. So scared.

Ive not been online for weeks & weeks because we've moved house, and I was wondering how you got on at the FS as our appointment was on the same day. Im SOOOO delighted for you.

What else did I miss?

I went to my FS on 3rd November. Turns out all my blood tests were taken on the wrong day, so I had some bloods taken then as first day of SRKM (stupid red kootch monster/ AF), and internal exam (nice) and then Ive to go back on 24th for an internal ultrascan, 26th for the rest of my bloods. Also to arrange the lap & dye (yuck) for next month and DH has to repeat his SA again haha.... and our follow up appointment - the earliest we could get it booked for was in May 2011 !!!

I am going to try to use my private healthcare policy to get the tests done at least. I know they wont cover any IVF treatment but if we can speed up the tests at least it would be better.

Apart from that, not much to tell you.

Update me on what Ive missed!

Waiting - so you don't have any proper results from the tests you've done so far? Would you mind reminding me how your DH's first SA was? You really don't have a good handle on his numbers till he does at least two tests, a few months apart. I'm so sorry your follow up appointment is so far away. The mere threat of FS appointments was enough to get two gals on this thread knocked up so I hope it works for you too!

Thanks hun - I hope it gets me knocked up too!

His first SA was normal for everything except his non motility was showing at 60%. But the doctor didnt really know what that meant. I will dig out the scores and post them tomorrow.

I had bloods done on day 21, which showed I hadnt ovulated - however I only ovulated the day before and apparently there needs to be a much longer gap than that so the results are dodgy. They also tried to do other tests that should have been done on day 1. So all in all pretty much a waste of time.

I had day 1 bloods taken at the FS appointment on 3rd Nov, then I am back on 26th for an ultra scan of my ovaries, on 28th for the post ovulation blood tests, then I have to arrange the Lap & Dye (yuck) for next month. DH has to go back with his SA sometime soon so there will have been a gap of about 3 months from his last one.
