ok, so a bit of a background;
I currently work but my contract has been dropped to 12 hours and extra hours are few and far between. It doesn't feel worth my while going in 3 days a week for 4 hours and sorting out childcare etc... I am not benefiting from working at all as the amount I am making is actually under the amount that I'd be entitled to if I wasn't working at all. Don't get me wrong, I WANT to work (more of that later) but I can't help but think that I would be better being at home with my kids and help them grow.
I am in the process of starting up my own business so until it kicks off I won't have an awful lot of income from it so, I do plan on working but initially it will just be my OHs income what I was going to ask was...
how long would it take for CTC to change after leaving a workplace? I know what I am entitled to as I have looked up this, done calculators etc... that is how I know my entitlement is more than my minimum wage.
like I said though, I do want to work but I want it to feel like it is worth the time away from my kids and this doesn't feel like it. I would much rather get my own business on it's feet and be able to be at home for my kids AND work
