Working tax credits - Help?

Do you need to be over 25 to claim working tax credits or are there exceptions? I was wondering because a girl at work is 21 and can claim it x

You can claim it if your over 25 or have a child and your under 25...Does she have a child?? xxXxx

i think you have to have a child to claim under the age of 25

i take it your not over 25? wait till baby is born and put a claim in. they're pretty quick to sort it.

Yeah I'm 17 and me and OH tick all the boxes so should be able to claim it. Thanks. x
