Need advice please and this might be a bit complicated?

Since hubby left I have an application for IS in.
It looks like I'm about to be offered a job.

If I go to work and something goes wrong, where do I stand with regards to IS again??

I think as a lone parent they automatically process your IS claim quite quickly. There is a scheme where if the job doesn't work out in the short term you can just reopen your previous claim but you would have to check with the Job centre for that. Do you have a lone parent advisor? If you get a good one they can be a godsend.

I don't have anything yet because of the building works going on outside. They said it's straightforward, but it seems not.
