ok so first off my last period started on Dec.21. And my bf and i had sex jan.5and i wasnt thinking and we didn't use anything and i was ovulating at the time. I just was wondering besides missing your period is there symptoms that start earlier than that

Sore or fuller boobs, feeling tired, sometimes nausea, funny taste in your mouth.

Do a test hun so you know for sure.

Your boobs also can get darker.. You'd be better off just doing a test as Esther stated

an early response can detect 5 days before but the percentage is lower so it may be false negative..mine came up positive that early buts its like a 30% chance, you could go get a blood test if you cant wait

Most symptoms wont start till a pregnancy test would be positive. I would just wait it out as calmly as you can (because stress alone can cause your period to be late) and take a test that day. If your period still doesn't show wait two or three days and take another if its still not positive and no period head to the doctor as you will need to figure out what is up either way. There is a high possibility of pregnancy at that time. So what are your feelings if you are pregnant hun?

I would do an early response test, if your still worried go to the doctors and get a blood test done.

I dont understand, the title is worried im pregnant, but if you knew you were ovulating,whi have unprotected sex and cause unneccesary worry?

get a test, its the best way to be sure. the symtoms are so vaired from person to person its hard to tell.

You test earliest when your period is due. I recommend you wait till you're late in case you get a false negative.

I did get other symptoms like painful breast, nausea, dizzyness but only after missing a period.

If you had sex on jan 5th, you need to wait a good 2 weeks to be able to test.
The egg needs to fertilise, travel down & implant, which normally takes 7-10 days & then the hormone needs to get into your pee to show up on a test.

Try testing with a half decent brand on the 19th

ok thanks everybody. i know it was pretty stupid for us to do it during that time. but it was my first time so like the next day i was like doing research on it and i found out that i did it at the worst possible time. and my family is so conservative and they will probably disown me if i am pregnant so thats why im so worried

Your family will love you no matter what. Do not be scared to talk to them.

For me my boobs were really sore! And Smells made me sick thats how i new somthing was up!

For your information, there is medication you can take following unprotected sex if you are worried. You have to take it within 72 hours of having sex and it brings forward your period. I would also advise going and talking to a family planning clinic so you can get information on contraception, and other information too like the "morning after pill" etc. I think it is very important that all women are informed of their choices and can take the right precautions.

If you aren't pregnant now, you definitely need to go on some sort of contraception. There is a variety of them now and you can find the one that suits you best.
Also,if a condom breaks, you have the option of a morning after pill.

Don't stress yourself about telling your parents yet, you will blow that bridge when you get to it.
