Hi,welcome to BnB and congratulations on your pregnancy.

I have to agree that at his moment in your life you need to take it day by day.Is there any way you could get some small work now, before you are heavily pregnant?
I'm not sure how the council system works in UK as I'm not from there, but did you apply for benefits or something?

Hey hun you should get a house, not a flat, as you're carrying a baby. You can apply for a lot of benefits once LO's here and in 3 months you'll only be 6 months along so you've got plenty of time!
In the time being, keep a look out for a new job.

Sorry to hear you've been put in this position hun, hope everything works out for you!

Hiya hun you shud be entitled to a few benefits like pixiekitty sed. have you considered goin to see connexions? they are really good bout housin in benefits nd teenage pregnancy. i have been seein then since i was 16 im noww 19 nd they really do help you. https://www.connexions-direct.com/index.cfm?go=localServices have a look at their website. hope this helps. xxxx

Hey hun!
Try not to worry tomuch i no easier said than done but u have a bit of time to get prepared!
Are you wantin to get into work or are u guna wait till baby a few years old?
You can get grants and stuff from government when ur not workin so that can help you get what u need for bubs, and with flats i no the council used to help out with gettin stuff for it but u will have to double check that one now!
I just started a new job 3 weeks ago and they have been excellent, its illegal to refuse someone a job cos they are pregnant so i u wanna work try not to worry too much bout that aspect of it!!

Hope it works out for you, and im sure ur dad will come round he prob just in shock!!! xxx

Awww sorry to hear you're in this kind of situation!! Can your dad not help you out in any way??

First of all  to you hun.
Sorry to hear about your situation.
But it can and will get better, these things just take time, anything worthwhile takes time.
I would recommend you going to your local job centre plus to see what benefits you are entitled to, as you are currently not working you should be able to (at the very least) claim job seekers allowance, this will also entitle you to put in for housing and council tax benefit and get you free prescriptions and dental care.
It's also worth going to your local Connexions office for advice, they are very good there and will be able to give you a lot of advice.
You should also be entitled to surestart grant but that's from when you are 29 weeks pregnant and can be claimed up until the baby is 3 months old.
You will be able to get health start vouchers for milk, fresh fruit and veg, see your midwife about that.
I know it's difficult but please try not to worry too much because worry and stress also worries your baby, what emotions you feel, the baby will feel.
I wish you the very best of luck dealing with your situation and wish you a happy and healthy pregnancy.
Best wishes
x
