I constantly think I'm going to miscarry :/ It's getting on my nerves! How likely is it for someone to miscarry? And I am getting cramps quite a lot but they're not excruciating painful, they do hurt a little though. Any advice? Argh

hunn i wouldnt worry so much about misscarring, i know its possible but i mean it was just like a few days ago i realized i shouldnt worry about it! i think most women fear it when they get pregnant! but just believe! And about the cramps i get cramps all the time sometimes they hurt alot sometimes its just a little pain! so if your really concern probablyt talking to your dr. would help

The first trimester is one that is certainly full of anxiety about possible miscarriage. I would bring it up to your doctor about the cramping, but often it is a normal symptom and also a sign of the uterus stretching.

:hugs:

well you're 8 weeks, and apparently the majority of miscarriages happen in the first 7 weeks and the risk decreases up until 12 weeks, where you can relax a bit because the risk goes down significantly after then! i constantly thought i was going to have a miscarriage at the beginning, but now time has flown by and i'm feeling baby's first kicks!

Thanks guys. Yeah I will mention it to the midwife just to be 100% sure. Roll on week 12! Less anxiety and hopefully no more sickness :p

There is about a 10% chance of miscarriage in first tri, but that means there's a 90% chance of having a perfectly healthy baby. :hugs: I know it's hard not to worry but it really isn't good for you or your LO.

There's a 30% chance before week 12, then it dramatically decreases to 1%.

Just think of it as having a 70% chance that your baby will be healthy.

Cramping in the 1st Trimester is more likely too be stretching pains, as your body's changing so fast, making room for the LO. Try not too worry hun, aslong as the cramps are not associated with blood, then don't worry it's normal. :hugs:

try not to think about it and dont worry, injoy your pregnancy

Worrying is normal. I mean, heh...I still worry now.

The cramping is perfectly normal.. So don't worry there.
Take time to enjoy your pregnancy.. Especially the comfort. Minus the cramping.
