So Im pretty sure the bearings in my washing machine have broke.

Do you know if it is worth buying a new one, instead of getting is fixed?

This really isnt what I need right now!

Thanks

Is it making that dreaded banging noise?

Not a banging sound, its more a grinding noise. It then stops, machine beeps and the lights flash

Everyone has said it could be something stuck in it (bra wire mainly) but im pretty sure i;d notice if one was missing when I went to put a bra on :haha:

Try pulling it out and taking the back cover off. Yous hould be able to see if there's something sticking in the drum. Make sure it is off at the wall and you don't pull the water supply out!

Worth trying before you go shopping :)

Nope, we have spent £300 on a candy 9kg, and its bust twice in the last year....we are 3 weeks out of our guarantee and it wont switch on this morning, If your old one is reliable, get it fixed and get some insurance on it :winkwink:

^^^ WSS

Our Bosch has broken within a year of purchase. They told us they are only made to last 3 years most now, not the ten or so they used to
