Hi everone. I am 32 and my husband is 33 years old. We have were married in2004 :happydance:however we were not trying to prevent pregnancy and we did nothing to prevent it. I hope this year is the year. Good luck to everyone.

Good luck on your journey livinginhope1. I've never had a :bfp: either. I'm soon to be 39 and DH and I have been TTC for just over a year. Have you been to see a specialist yet about your fertility or waiting to see what happens?

Hi Traskey, I saw my Gyn in September 2009. After a number of test he said I was ok, i ovulated on my own, my hormone levels are fine, my tubes are clear however my DH has a very low sperm count. He told us we should see a fertility specialist who will do ICSI. However we may not be in a financial position to do ICSI for a while so we will try on our own and hope it happens soon.

Fingers crossed that it happens for you naturally then. Fertility treatment is very expensive. Not sure of the cost in the US but here it's about £5000 for IVF. That's not money that we have, having paid for our wedding last year.

There are lots of hints and tips from people on here to help with conception. I think I am going to try grapefruit juice this cycle and see how we get on!

Where we live at present in the US IVF would cost us $14,000 to $16,000. When we found out we had MFI my husband recieved a scholarship to study abroad ( we are not originally from the US) so I quit my job to be with him. So until he finishes school I have a 4 year wait for ICSI.

Wow, that's a lot of money :( I am sorry you have to wait the 4 years. With any luck you will conceive naturally before then so you won't have to worry about finding the funds. Are you charting your temperatures or recording when you are ovulating?

We hope we conceive on our own. I ovulate on my own, but I recently realized that my Luteal phase has been 10 days for a couple months and last month it was 9 so today is day 9 so I am waiting to see what will happen this month. I have been taking vit B6 for a couple weeks now.

I have read that this can increase the LP. How much vit B are you taking? Are you taking folic acid or prenatal vitamins too?

Hi ladies! Can I join you? I O'd on the 20th and I am now 4dpo... never had children yet and still trying for our first... my husband and I have been married for a year and a half now.. I am 35... scared about infertility but time will tell I guess... I have been doing Opk tests and natural things to help... I am having cramps today so maybe that is a good sign?

 CJ, of course you can! The cramps could be a good sign so fingers crossed. If you are doing O tests then that will help. We use the CBFM so that we have the best chance of catching that elusive egg!

1300mg of Evening Primrose (From AF to O day)
2000mg of Flaxseed oil (from O to AF)
100mg of Vit B6
400mg red raspberry leaves

cvs women's prenatal multi prenatal vitamins and minerals

I was thinking of taking evening primrose oil, but wasn't sure when to. Thanks for that.
