Francesca?

If we have another girl she will proably be called Francesca Stephenson.

If you had/chose that name wuld you shorten it to Franki/Frankii/Frankie?

that's a beautiful name! I would use Frankie

i dont think i would shorten it its a beautiful name

I think you will naturally shorten it as a nickname :) I've a couple of friends who use Frankie

I would use Frankie. When my son was born and we called him Matthew, everyone said oh he will get called Matty etc but I can honestly say he is 5 now and EVERYONE calls him Matthew. I say Math lol but its only something I say now and then.

I guess as he gets older it maybe Matt or Matt, I thought it would have been shortened by now though so I am happy lol x

Frankie. But I know someone called Francesca who shortens it to Fran which I'm not keen on.

Lovely name. I'd use Frankie but also maybe Fran?

I'm not keen on Frankie to be honest, Fran's ok and I love Chessie x

what a gorgeous choice hon, i'd probably say frankie :D but i love the idea of it being shortened to Chessie too :D

One of my best friends is called Francesca, she tried to call herself Frankie, but everyone just called her Frannie which she hates because she thinks it sounds too much like Fanny... i think she got teased at school too.
I probably wouldn't shorted it though, Francesca is a lovely long name x

I love the name Francesca! Gorgeous! I would try to keep her full name, rather than a nn. But if she did have a nn, i would much prefer Frankie over Fran or Franny!
