Would you use a personal trainer?

I definately would!

Ive had one in the past, well from age 15 to 20, my parents paid for mine as i was a competition runner, so met up twice a week to train outside my actualy coah training.

Unfortunately my knee gave in so had to pack in competitions..

Sorry waffling a bit lol... but i LOVED mine, he was also a nutrionist too so advised on the food aspect too, was pretty well priced i think. He was FIT omg that helped :haha: But it really kicked me up the butt as he pushed me to the limit which i wouldnt on my own... Ive been looking at having one again, for general fitness tbh

If I could afford one SURE! I don't think I'd stay committed if it were an online sort of deal. I'm horrible when it comes to motivation so I'd really need someone to be right there telling me to work my ass off and telling me what to eat and what not to eat.

i would 100% if i had the money and i would be deffo interested in the online personal trainer if you do decide to take it up :D

You will probably need additional certification to offer nutrition advice although here in Canada PT's are not supposed to offer nutrition advice (too specialized).

Check out bodybuilding.com forum and there's a section for personal trainers - lots of great ideas.

And would I hire one? No... but then I am looking into becoming one. I *did* use one many years ago when I was training for my police fitness exams. Your army background is great for it. But most of your clients will be out of shape women wanting to just lose weight (no dig, this is just the clientele) so I don't think the army voice will go over well :p But it worked for me, haha

Yes would definitely get one if i won the lottery, atm its just not an option financially :)

Thanks for all the posts girls :)

Aliss, I will be doing an advanced certificate in nutrition too. Great thing is with the course providers is I can top up and add more quals as and when I want to.

The Army voice won't come out very often

hell yeah, if i had the money. because i WOULD lose weight with one.

Awesome :) :) :) But I'd be fine with the voice lol!

If I a) had the money and b) had someone to look after Jacob. Or better still if they could come here and do exercise with Jacob around!
