Would you walk in if someone was expecting you and the door was open?

If it's someone I know I usually knock and shout hello and walk in.. If I didn't know them I'd knock and wait X

Depends whose house it was in some of my family houses and friends I just walk in but if it was somebody that I didn't really know then no. In your situation with the door being open and a party going on yes I prob would of walked in shouting hello.

I don't knock at my mums, my aunties, my grandads and inlaws, or one of my friends. Everyone else I do but if they know I'm coming I'll probably knock then try the door x

I'd probably knock, or knock and then walk in.. If the doors were open though then that seems like an invitation to just walk in? It drives me nuts when OH's family just walk into the house and come and plonk themselves down! That's different though
