I would never ever pick a name just because it's 'different' or change the spelling or anything like that to make it unique.

I was a bit put off when I heard Oliver was the most popular name of the year but it was the only one Nick and I both really liked and it had already stuck by the time I found out it was so popular!

Yeah, I always just think 'I like that' or 'I don't. DH hardly likes any names, so getting us to agree on some we loved was a complete miracle!

I totally agree, she reminds me of cher lloyd, thinks she's mint but puts on a humble act, she goes through me, as does janet x

We had a girl's name picked out from pretty much day one and we have another boy's name now, so we're covered for the next ones! I am so broody it's killing me

it wasn't. i wanted jake but i thought jacob would look good on his CV's when he's older

People told me to just call him Oli if that is what I'd shorten it to any way but I wanted to give him the option! I do call him Oliver too though.

it wasn't. i wanted jake but i thought jacob would look good on his CV's when he's older

I have a Jacob too, but when I was pregnant we were on team yellow and I was convinced I was having a girl so being the dick that I am I said if we have a girl I will choose the name, if we have a boy you can choose the name. And low and behold the child came out of me with a willy and all so I had to let him pick the name and it took me ages to get used to Jacob's name and I am still in 2 minds whether it should be Jake or Jacob

I think Craig and Janet were both brilliant. I think Janet's as good as she's ever been, but the judges aren't really sure what they want from her :/
Marcus, Kitty and Little Mix have all been fairly forgettable..

People always assume our Jacob's named after the one in Twilight because i'm a bit of a fan. Sooo not the case, it's just a lovely name .
