Most of the homes I have lived in have had electric. They have the oven on the bottom and the cooktop on the top. I've never had an oven built into the wall. Could you just get a combo one with both oven and cooktop and then have an extra oven for big baking days? Or I have seen just the cooktop on the countertop with cabinets beneath.
