Had m/w appointment today and my lil man is 3/5ths engaged I'm so happy. I know it means nada in terms of when he will come but its a step in the right direction and as long as he stays this way I know my induction will happen in 3 weeks time.

She also said that I'm probably losing my mucus plug due to his head pressing down on my cervix and causing it to dilate a bit but to not worry unless my waters leak.

Oh I so hope this means he is ready to come and we get to meet him before I am induced. :happydance:

On the downside I had + glucose in my urine so been told to cut down on the amount of coca cola I drink which is going to be hard as its the only thing I can really stomach apart from apple juice which I have been told is just as bad :( Water and milk I just cannot stomach in pregnancy so god knows what I'm going to drink from now til hes born x

is this your 1st child? i seem to be the only one thats not engaging :nope: Xx

its my 3rd hun. She did say he may pop out but hopefully he wont. My youngest engaged around this point too so I think my babies just like to be in the head down position.

Hope your baby engages soon but if not don't worry some babies won't til you go into labour x

the midwife did say 2nd etc babies dont engage so early or even untill labout begins but he put on my notes at last appointment hes on the brim  Xx

2 weeks ago Lewis was on the brim so I started doing everything I could to encourage him to engage and something must have worked lol.

Now I am going to worrying about him popping back out so I'm going to bounce on my ball, walk up and down the stairs and do plenty of walking to ensure he doesn't lol. x

My wee man hasn't engaged yet either and has only just gone head down although he seems to be moving about quite a bit still so even though I saw the mw yesterday I am going back to see her next week to check he is still head down as my daughter was breech and I had to have a section with my first pregnancy and I really want a vbac this time round!
