'V' day is the time (24 weeks) that your bump is medically considered to be a baby... or Viable. Basically from what I've read, it means that the hospital will now do everything in it's power to save the baby should you go into early labour and the chance of baby surviving out of the womb at 24 weeks increases from about 10% to 60 or 70% (can't remember which).
