Yearly check up tomorrow I have a question

I know this is a strange question but I really don't know. I have my yearly check up tomorrow and I've always heard to refrain from sex before your appointment. Does anyone know the amount of time? My DH and I had sex last night which would be 48 hours before the appointment. Could this mess with the results? Thanks!

I've never heard of that before. I don't imagine that having sex 48 hours before the exam would mess anything up.
