Yes. I haven't had this happen to me, as I've never used ovulation tests, but the reason ovulation tests show positive, is because two hormones, LH and hcg are very similar. This site explains it all:

Yes me i did post on your other thread, I thought i was ovulating but at 10DPO got a smiley face on my ovulation test, i had no idea i was pregnant

14DPO - The ones with the pink ends is the test sticks that go in the CB digital tests. When i tested at 10DPO they were not as dark as the control line

Have you been doing OPKs then but think you have already ovulated?

yes me i got this at 7dpo and got my bfp yesterday at 11dpo so i think it can happen xxx
