am fed up of fireworks already  our dog is going nuts bless him :( so weve been and bought one of the plug ins the release female Pheromones to calm him but it says it needs a week to start working so fingers crossed that will start working soon

hope you all had lovely weekend :)

Ive not been up to much, just cleaning! joy lol Its not too bad, had some nice cuddles with Chloe. I was on a course Friday so not been about as much. Chloe took her first steps on Thursday :happydance: She has been trying so hard since. Oh and I got to see her do them together too which I was glad of :D Best go, she isn't so well and terrible at sleeping right now.

Aimee, hows the new hair do?

groovyjem, hope your dog calms a bit, worst time of year for pets :flower:

Enjoy the rest of your weekend all :flower:

Oh Kte i am well happy for you Chloe took her first steps!! Well done Chloe :D

My hair is really nice thank you, i did have to go get it re-cut at Marks though as the lass that did it where i first got it done made a bit of a cock up. I went for the chop from long to short!

Jem glad you had a good night out and what a bargain a cocktail for £2!! Bring it on hehe xx

awww well done chloe ... not be long before shes got you running round katie :)

not long to wait aimee ... i can always sniff an alcohol bargain out ;) :haha:

ooo i had to share this picture of our birdy ... hes so mischievous he goes in at the bottom or in at the sleeve and comes out here but its not good when he goes investigating

Yet another crappy day of cleaning here, i swear it is never ending i have no idea where it comes from!

good morning ..... his name is papoon :)

got some washing to do here too so nothing exciting happening but it does look like suns trying to come out :D

Morning all,

Groovyjem: Aww cute birdie! What kind is he? Is he an amazon? I used to work in a pet shop that sold birds, you think I would know/remember, then again it has been 8 years! I love their little tongues! :D

AimeeM: Glad the hair is sorted now, I think I may just go to Marks next time too, I'm always happy with the result when I go there! I know how you feel about cleaning, never ending! Work gives me a break!

Hey ladies, quick question. Would you use a child minder that doesn't drive if they lived local to you/school/nursery?

Hi S-j, can you send me your FB again as i think i deleted it by mistake!

I don't think i would use a cm that didn't drive or there was no one there who drove as it really is needed in a emergency but i suppose i might do? Hmmm good question!

hiya, i'm sarah-jane roberts x Was just looking for feedback as have been thinking for a long time about setting myself up as a child minder but i don't drive so was looking for honest feedback. I know i'd use one who couldn't drive provided they were all set up and registered with ofsted etc. Xx

Would you not take lessons? Awww your good wanting to be a child minder, one naughty baby is enough for me hehe!

i would definitely take lessons but not on maternity pay unfortunately! It's a bit chicken and egg really because i'd like to have a licence first but would need to have the income from minding to pay for them,

it's charlie in a little boy big trouble t shirt. Don't put anything on there about the child minding though because i have colleagues on there!

Thought so, hes so cute!! I wont dont worry. I don't see why not driving is a problem if your minding for local people. I know what you mean about learning it is too expensive, £40 for two hours....

Thanks! it's crazy. Until i earn that i resent paying it but needs must i suppose!

I am learning at the mo, two boys with one at school and one in a pram i got to pass soon before i collapse lol xx

The 'in an emergency' would be that only thing that would put me off but maybe have suggestions ready for parents such as to what you would do. :flower: Its worth a try setting up as a CM without / or starting lessons if thats what you are aiming to do anyway, I guess then you can see what interest you get.

I often wonder what I would do with Chloe when OH is out. I can drive but currently don't have a car and i'm not insured on OH's car.
