Your Christmas crafts

I did this craft for the craft fair at church with the kids:

Everyone liked making them and the glitter has stayed on through storage so far.

Love those! They're so pretty. Going to try this with daughter!

I'm making two cross stitch cushions this year but I've not picked out the design yet. I might knit some super chunky scarves if I get the chance.

LO will probably make some more salt dough decorations and I'm hoping to make some baubles with him too.

Finally finished LO's stocking. He loves it but now thinks it is Christmas and asked where our tree is? :dohh:

Oh wow that is fantastic!!

These are just a few of the things I've made for our Christmas Tree last year. Still wondering what to make this year, I have loads of white polymer left so maybe snowmen :happydance:
The ginger bread men are salt dough and the candy canes and lollipop whirls are fimo/polymer clay. I need to take some pictures of the other crafts I haven't photographed

I'm doing a cross stitched book cover for my brother, and cross stitch gift tags for ds teachers that will be tree decorations aswell. And we will probably do some homemade tree decorations with kids.

LOVE all this! I haven't started any yet but have plans to make stockings and a nice bunting.

Love the stocking. Your little boy looks chuffed !

I have decided that my November project is to make advent calendars for the kids. Like fabric ones with little felt pockets that they can have a little sweet/toy in every day.

I haven't sewed since textiles in school 10 years ago so I'm not planning anything major special but it will keep me busy on a night and hopefully they will last a few years...just so I can say 'I made that for you' :) xx

That's a lovely idea :)

Finally finished one of lo's gifts. I'm afraid that he won't play with it though, even if he doesn't I really enjoyed making it.

Love the pizza box and pizza. So cute and looks yummy enough to eat!

Oh wow, I love that!

That pizza looks great!

This ladder project was my main crafty item this year...took me all year to find a good ladder to use, lol! Dh finally found the perfect ladder buried under a bunch of hay/straw in one of the barns at the family farm where he works. We sanded it down, stained it black, cut boards at different lengths to make it look tree-shaped, stained those, and then I put the whole Christmas village on it next to the tree.

I love the ladder shelf. Turned out so nice and I love the idea of putting the Christmas village on it.
