10 weeks pregnant and have chicken po

Hi, not been on site for a couple of weeks.

I have been diagnosed with chicken pox, I have been to the hospital for an injection to boost my immune system and have been googling away getting more and more worried about baby. Doctors and midwives have been great but it so heartbreaking reading the stories online.

Has anyone else experienced this with any of your pregnancies and if so how did you get on.

didn't wanna read n run, hugs hun, i'm sure you will be fine and baby will be fine, you're doing the right thing, just try and rest up and not stress yourself

Hi hun, make sure you rest as much as possible. At this stage in pregnancy chicken pox is nore harmful to you than the baby. Late into 2nd tri and 3rd tri is when its most likely to cause harm to the baby. To be honest if you are going to get chicken pox in pregnancy, now is the time to do it. You will be immune in about a week to 10 days, but will feel exhausted in the meantime x
