Natnee- How strange that it's the same dates. Must be something in the air at this time of year! Crossing my fingers for you too!

Yeah it wasn't planned, just realised from looking at an old diary from 4 years ago, last af was 19th july, as was this time. And last time got preg 1st time... but my age isn't on my side this time.

Mine isn't either and I don't have any yet. My sister in law has a 15 month old son and it took them 9 months to conceive. She was 34 - 35 this weekend. She also says she would like 3. I'm 33 - 34 in Nov. my concern is that my mum had a hysterectomy at 32 and was told she was lucky that she'd had any children at all - my brother and I were both difficult births. Still, my nan got married at 32/33 and went onto have 6 healthy children naturally so there is hope yet. I'd really like an April baby - still no sign of AF. I'll be driving my husband mad while I'm in limbo.

You're still quite young, not that I'm 'old' lol, but I'm 37 and 38 in March, so will be at least 38 if have another! I thought I would just have 1 but my biological clock has started ticking and I wouldn't want to be in my 40's and having babies. It doesn't help that I work in sainsburys in the clothing dept, and all the teeny tiny baby clothes are so cuuute! And a few friends have recently had their 2nd!

Good old Sainsbury's! I worked for them when I was at university. I actually liked it - I was on the customer service desk most of the time. I can't help but look at the baby clothes when we go out shopping. I saw the cutest girl's swimming costume in John Lewis. It was adorable. Had to restrain myself from buying it. I know they say it takes longer to conceive after 35 but there are so many women having babies much later in life. I'm sure you'll be fine. It's just the waiting that's annoying.

Yes your right, in fact a group of 5 of us (that met at sing and sign) all with girls around same age, I am actually the youngest, 3 of them are over 40 now, so late 30's when had babies, and another friend has had one at 39. Thats made me feel a bit better!

Really had to restrain myself from doing another test earlier! lol i'm not made of money! Sainsburys don't pay that well!!

If I was you I'd hang on a whole before testing. Even the cheap tests add up to a lot if you buy lots of them. AF still not here but boobs are getting more painful by the minute... Especially on top. It's usually just the sides with AF. See, you're still a spring chicken. I think it's perfectly normal to have children in your thirties/late thirties these days.

I know but it's so tempting! I still prob will do one in the morning! I have struck a deal with myself, if this month isn't to be, I will be better next month and not go crazy. Let me get my poas obsession out the way this time!!

How are you doing this evening, anything happened. Have you tested again or waiting til morning?

Still no sign of AF. Just feeling really tired, some slight cramping on and off and sore boobs. As tempting as it is, I don't think I will test for another few days. There wasn't even a hint of a + line on this morning's test and I've been reading that a lot of people don't get a positive test until 1, 2, 3 or 4 weeks after their missed period. I'm giving AF 2 or 3 days to show before I test again. So so tired, I could easily have gone to bed at 7pm the last two days. Have been managing to stay up until 9/9.30 and fall asleep pretty quickly but then wake up 2 or 3 times during the night to go to the loo. Have been convinced that AF has arrived every time I've gone to the loo today but so far, nothing.

Wow I wish I had your willpower! Well the tiredness sounds promising, do you normally get tired before af? I haven't really felt tireder but I am used to early mornings, usually up by about 6:30 most mornings! I think an early night for you! Night!

I'm usually tired all the time as I have low iron levels. I was really ill with it a couple of years ago so discounting that, I would never normally feel the urge to go to bed at 7pm. I usually stay up until 10/11pm. Have pushed through it this evening but I guarantee as soon as my head hits the pillow I'll be out for the count. Not sure about the will power, I just don't want a lot of disappointing results and they do cost money so I'd rather wait until I'm more likely do get a different result to this morning. I'm also convinced AF will turn up. If she doesn't arrive by Saturday I will be more likely to think I might actually be pregnant. Looking forward to hearing your results. It will be great if you are pregnant with the same dates as your daughter.

Testing in about 6/7 hours. Too nervous to sleep. Just hoping I see my BFP!

Well I went to sleep for about an hour and just woke up to go to the loo. Still no sign of AF. Can't help but check this forum constantly. I think my veins are becoming more noticeable but maybe they are like this all the time and I hadn't really noticed. I am definitely symptom spotting. My husband keeps asking if AF has arrived. Good luck Newlywed! I hope you get a BFP... Just don't be too disappointed if you don't as lots of people don't get positives until a week or two after AF was due. Please let us know your result either way. Keeping everything crossed for you!

Hey guys, just to let you know I just got my BFN. But not losing hope yet. I have all good symptoms and will testing again on Sunday when AF is 1 day over. That's if she doesn't get me first! Thanks for all the support though. Not sure what I would at this time with BB and if course my DH!

Hey Newlywed, sorry it's not the result you were hoping for but don't lose hope... It's probably just too early. Hang in there. So I have just woken up desperate for the loo, expecting AF to be here for sure but still no sign of her. Feeling a bit bleugh this morning - bit queasy but that might be due to drinking too much banana milkshake before I went to bed last night. I'm craving milkshake and egg sandwiches this week and I have no idea if people would get cravings this early in pregnancy. Staying hopeful that we all get positives this cycle.

I've woken up properly this morning and got a really sore throat and bunged up nose. Not fun! I've just wiped and had brown discharged too.. Could this be AF or is there still a chance I'm late implanting?

When is AF due? I'm no expert as I've never been pregnant before but I have read that some people have a brown discharge which was the implantation blood around the time AF is due and then it stops and they still go on to have a healthy baby. I honestly don't know, it could be either. Some people have spotting/bleeding on and off throughout the first trimester. The really annoying thing is that AF and pregnancy symptoms are very similar.

I have just looked at the dates and I could be realistically anywhere from 9-12dpo so it could be implantation. Guess ill find out today. If it gets heavier then I will know. So will let you know if anything changes. Thanks again!
