Just been to the loo again and convinced I would see AF ... But still nothing. Maybe I should just do another test. I'll do one in the morning. I really am thrilled for you Natnee, just wish my body would register a little sooner. When do you think you will tell family? If I am pregnant I think I might tell my mum and dad but maybe not anyone else until the scan. Although I'm sure my brother and his girlfriend didn't tell anyone until they had tr scan.

I might leave it a couple of days before I tell my mum, although I will see her this afternoon as she has Belle Fri Afternoons as I work Fri eves, so not sure if will be able to keep it in. Will see what oh says. If I tell her then will have to tell my sister as we are all in close proximity. My dad lives in market harborough and not that close to him, but we are going up to see him in a couple of weeks so might tell him then. Didn't tell anyone other than mum, sister and mil last time til after scan. FIL didn't know til after last scan (none of the grandparents are together) I really couldn't keep it secret from everyone til scan, esp as theres a family party mid september, and people would find it weird I wasn't drinking!! (it's only round corner at mums so couldn't say I was driving!!) I'll just have to have schloer and pretend it's wine!

Or tell them you're on antibiotics? Do you think you will want to know what you're having if they can tell on the scan or will you wait for a surprise?

Yes AB is a good idea! Eek, though, my fil and his wife are coming down next weekend, just remembered, his wife is a pharmacist and she will know that actually most AB you don't have to worry about alcohol with, it's actually only a few you can't drink with, so that wouldn't wash with her!!

I will DEF be finding out boy or girl at scan. I couldn't wait 9 months to find out. Then I will know if I am getting rid of the oodles of girl clothes i have in the loft or starting from scratch!!

This is quite freaky this morning. Belle is playing babies with her dollies and she hardly ever really plays with dolls much! Yesterday she kept going on about brothers and sisters. Perhaps kids really do have a 6th sense for things like this.

Maybe. So exciting for you. Imagine how excited Belle will be when you tell her! I would definitely want to know the sex of the baby at the scan too. It's still a surprise, just earlier.

Yes we found out with Belle at scan and told everyone it was a girl. The surprise that everyone had was her name, we kept that secret til she was born.

I've told my mum. I won't tell my sister til later in week when (hopefully) things are a lot more definite.

It's just occured to me though, question is when do you count your first day of your period? As I get 1 or 2 days of spotting before full throttle, and I'm saying i'm due on Thursday as full throttle, but if you count spotting, then perhaps af technically due 1 oe 2 days sooner, which might explain a result today, I could just be 4/5 days away from af, rather than 6? And therefore, alhough I don't know exact date of o, THAT could've been a day or so earlier than I 'thought'?

I bet your mum was pleased wasn't she? I've counted mine as from spotting. Like you, I usually get a day or so of spotting, usually brownish (nice!) and then full throttle but sometimes it's full steam ahead straight away. Just thought she would have been here by now. Other half made me cry earlier .... That's usually a sign she's on her way.

I took a test today and got a bfn! I am two days late for my period but still the bfn I am so confused.

Just lost my appetite today, just having some toast before I go to work (6-10) but nothing has really taken my fancy today. I hope I don't get too tired as I then work 9-6 on sats, and am usually knackered by the evening at the best of times, let alone now!

Yes she was, although her big mouth, she blurted out "a little brother or sister for Belle!' I was like 'shush shush' we don't want her picking up anything yet or she may start blabbing to all and sundry at nursery lol!

If you count from spotting then that's my dates all out the window! lol! I'll stick to my dates to have the same due date!!

Hey you crying may be a good sign as I have found myself feeling more emotional about things.

Hey guys, so after testing this morning and having one very small globule of brown discharge I have had nothing. We did BD yesterday pm so I'm wondering if its from that. Still feeling pregnant and not giving up full hope yet. Although I haven't been as bad today as I thought I would be. Will be testing again Sunday unless AF does get me but I normally come on quite quickly after the first signs. Plus it's the most normal I've felt for two weeks. No AF cramps today or anything.

Hey wantingabb, I'm the same as you, 2 days late and still getting bfn. I did a test around lunchtime and it didn't show anything. Still no AF though. Fingers crossed, there is still hope yet. I also read on the Internet today that some people just don't get positive results even when they are clearly pregnant, even the blood tests have come back negative and it's only at their 12 week scan that it's actually confirmed there's a baby in there. I really really hope that isn't the case for any of us. That would be so frustrating.

Natnee, emotional would probably be a bit of an understatement. I had a proper melt down at lunchtime today. Still no AF. If she doesn't turn up this weekend then something's definitely going on in there. Luckily I'm off work at the moment - I'm a school teacher so although we have work to do in the holidays, I can do it in my own time and generally just chill if I want to.

Newlywed, sounds like you're in limbo too. I'll never forget, a girl I went to college with got pregnant the first time she ever had sex. I wish it was that simple for us. I guess time will tell.

I survived not blurting it out to my friends at work! Will wait a few weeks before saying anything to my manager I thinks. Doing quite a physical job I suppose will need to be careful? Lot of lifting heavy baskets, pulling around rails, climbing up ladders. When I was prey before I was in an office job sitting down!

How are you ladies tonight? I do have a good feeling someone else will hopefully join me in 1st tri section. I haven't promoted myself there yet it seems too soon! I will be sticking around to find out how you are all doing for a while yet.

Symptoms - no indication of AF, feeling sleepy and tired, mild cramps.

I am not planning to test until 15 dpo.

Hi wishing2bmom, welcome to our little group. From my experience so far, anything before AF is due is too early to test... In fact even after has been too early so far. We are all different though, lovely Natnee has got her BFP before AF was due. It's just gone 5am on my 3rd day since AF was due and she's still not here. My boobs are so sore though and I'm feeling queasy again. Just wish if I am pg that it would show on a test. It's so cold this morning - feels like winter!

Natnee, please be careful at work - due to the nature of what you have to do it might be worth mentioning it to your manager sooner.

Morning, your're up early 5ummer. I got up before my alarm was due to go off at 6:30, kept waking in the night, feeling sooo tired now, could do without going to work today. I think was eager to test again. And thankfully there was a 2nd line again, a little darker than yesterdays! Where abouts in england are you, it's not too bad here. I've only got a couple of weeks at work til i'm off for a couple of weeks, so may tell her when I get back from time off. I hope they don't put me on checkouts or something!
