My baby boy has been a great milk drinker :) he usually drinks about 30 oz of milk per day .. hes been drinking cows milk since 6 months old .. along with formula ..now hes 12 months old and i have 1 can left of formula :dohh: im so scared of him not getting enough of what he needs ..hes not a big fan of eating veggies ..

Can i keep him on the 0-12 months formula for a bit longer or should i stop now ?

There are toddler formulas, but I'm willing to bet he is most likely getting all he needs. I would keep offering lots of veggies, it can take a long time for them to take to new foods. But if they are eating a well balanced diet there really is no need for the toddler formula. But I would cut back his milk intake, he shouldn't have more than 24oz max of cows milk in a day, the limit really is 16-24oz.

you can also try pediasure. but there are the 2nd stage formulas which are for 9-18 months.

30oz is a lot for babies to be getting at 12 months though. 16-20oz is what our pedi recommended.

humm ok I think i cut down ..I didnt know he was having too much he loves his milk allot as you can tell :)

Yeah my oldest was the same way, he loved to drink more than eat, but if they have more than the 16-24oz of cow's milk a day it can interfere with their ability to absorb nutrients such as iron
