Awww I'm sorry! We've had many high fevers like that, fevers really aren't dangerous unless they spike quickly, so try not to worry too much. Instead of doing cold showers try lukewarm...if you do cold his body is going to try and overcompensate because he probably already feels cold with his fever being up so his body is going to try harder to warm itself up and it's really going to make his fever go up even more. We don't even do meds here until their fever gets to 102+...even by recommendation of our pediatrician. Fever is a good sign, means their body is fighting something off. It's only bad if it spikes or it won't go down with treatment Hope he feels better soon
