18 and 29+5 weeks pregnant in need of some friends

Hi there, my name is Samantha, I'm 18 and 29+5 weeks pregnant with my first Due November Since getting pregnant I have found that those that I thought were my friends are not what I would consider friends. x

I found that too with my son, but I'd rather have one or two real friends than lots of fake ones! I still speak to girls from here I was pregnant with first time around

We have no choice, but it was so amazing in the end with our son that I'm glad our hospital don't tell you!

Nah he's far too young to even understand I'm pregnant lol x

You would be suprised what kids know. My cousins little boy is 18m and always comes up and pats my belly. Does your hospital not tell you then?

No, he really is too young, he has no clue in the world! I try to teach him 'baby' by touching my belly but he just hits my belly instead

No they don't, but it's fine, not knowing is the best in the end

Hi, congratulations I'm Hannah, 20 and have a 20-month-old son called Oliver and hopefully TTC 2 next month. I was also pregnant at 18. Don't worry too much you'll make new friends after having your baby if you visit childrens centers etc. plus there's lots of support on websites like these. xx

Congrats! I'm Treslyn, 20, and pregnant with my 2nd and 3rd! Had my daughter when I was 17 though and I lost nearly all of my friends by the end of it. I've managed to keep only 3 of my high school friends but in all honesty, I'd rather have them than the fake people who called themselves my friends!

Hey I'm 18 with a little boy, can't believe he's almost 3 months! Teen pregnancy is kind of common where I am, plus a lot of people didn't even know until I posted pictures of my son on facebook! But, I did learn who my real friends were when I got back with my OH last year.

Hi! Congrats! I'm Eve, 20 with an 11 week old little boy.
I never had a huge amount of friends so I didn't lose them when I got pregnant, I did have a bunch of nosey girls from trying to make amends with me to get some good gossip though!
You'll make a bunch of new friends once your little girl arrives. One of my closest friends is a girl who I always though was a bit stuck up, we were pregnant at the same time, went out for a cuppa and it turned out she's one of the nicest people I've met.
