18 months ttc where are you at?

Hey Charbaby! I'm basically where you are at ttc (timewise). Currently undergoing clomid, injections, and ultrasounds to keep an eye on the follies. Hopefully I will have some big enough on Friday to do my trigger shot (ovidrel)!

Hey you, best of luck for friday! x

Thank you!!! Friday wasn't the best, but I had great luck yesterday. I had one 18mm follicle! I gave myself the ovidrel (trigger) shot last night and will BD tonight and tomorrow morning.

that sounds great! when will you know if it has worked x

Plan on testing the 31st. I hope this is it!

It been 2 yrs this month .. though we have been very serious about it the past six months, we have been both taking vits etc. OH had SA and everything is good with him .. just got my PCOS to deal with !!! .. but I feel confident this month could be our month ...

Hi all

2 1/2 years for OH and I - male infertility. I am now on the last stretch of the two week wait following IVF - due to test on Friday!!! :D

18 months of TTC # 2. I have MTHFR and they prescribed low dose aspirin and progesterone cream. I just had the HSG test done this month. I have had 2 chemical pregnancies in the past 6 months and they are contributing it to the MTHFR. I am testing on Saturday so fingers crossed that I get that BFP and it sticks. We had difficulty getting pregnant with my first also. We tried for 2 years and then had some marital problems so we decided it was not a good time and I went back on birth control. Came off the BC 6 months later and within 3 months I was pregnant. Had a healthy pregnancy with no problems. So it is strange that now the MTHFR is causing problems. I am just putting it in God's hands and hoping and praying that we don't have to wait much longer.
Baby dust to you all.

It is a gene mutation (blood clotting disorder) I just have to take a low dose aspirin every morning and then if I do get pregnant I have to take heprin (blood thinner) injections everyday of the pregnancy. Just got the results back on my 8 DPO blood work and they said that my HCG showed not pregnant. I am wondering if I should even bother with a HPT. AF is not due until Saturday. Would a blood test even show a pregnancy that early?

it all depend on when it would have implanted, so there is still a good chance you could be

Yes. It was negative then I got my period Tuesday. I'm taking a couple of months off. Just gonna take my metformin and see what happens. If that doesn't do it, I will go back to the DR in October to be monitored with drugs again. Sigh.

hey rdy4, you sound down :(. Know how your feeling, on 2nd cycle after Op and just tired of all the waiting and never knowing really whats going on inside :/ I have to wait till september 27 before going back to hospital and thats for the chlomid not sure if its going to be monitored with scans and stuff or just left to it for a further 3 months. Hoping we get our bfps before sept/oct so we dont have to go back! xx

Char- I try to stay positive, but some times are harder than others. I know you know what I mean. I so hope what you said was true (about us getting pregnant and not having to worry with the dr.s anymore). I really don't want to take time off but due to financial restraints I have too. I teach and school is starting back August the 15th and I don't wanna start the year out missing work like crazy again. Lets keep our fingers crossed!
