Hi ladies! I finally got my smiley face on my digi today. Clomid didnt seem to alter ov days for me as i usually get my surge days 14-16 and today was day 16. So next week I will go in for my day21 bloodwork. Hopefully this one round will do the trick and I will get my bfp

That's awesome! I get my blood work done on day 21 for myself as well and I pray that this helped me ovulate. I didn't ovulate at all and that is why they put me on this

Hello ladies! I've been out about a week now because I was so depressed that I decided to try and stay off of B&B for a little while. I was told if I didn't start my period by yesterday to take a pregnancy test and then take provera because due to not ovulating I wouldn't have a period. Well it is CD 36 and guess what.... I started my period today! Either the dr was wrong, or being I've been exercising and found out I took the wrong mg of metformin that something it finally working. I've never been so happy to see a period lol. So, I think CD 36 isn't too late because a lot of threads say CD 28-35 is normal for many women, so having a period start on CD 36 isn't too far off. I'm over the moon happy, now I hope it's like a normal period and doesn't last forever. I hope all of you ladies are doing well.

Thank you I'm feeling better today and I'm trying to stay positive; easier said than done lol. I'm going for a second opinion that others have went to with better outcomes. I'm just angry my dr wouldn't even give me another chance. Some women ov one mth but not the other, but I couldn't find out if I would be one of those women. If I still have that feeling of unknown at next dr I think I will take all medication break. Thank you so much for your reply. You ladies help me get through this process!

Hey Felicia...sorry about your not so good news…I have had HSG done and reason he is sending you is probably because sometimes when they to that they flush out fallopian tubes and some women get pregnant after that because their tubes get open...my insurance does not pay for HSG however my doc is great and she coded it somehow to where insurance would pay for it so my out of pocked was about $300.00...My HSG was normal…I would find a different doctor though...when I told my first ob that I was spotting for about 7 or more days before period his reply was: “at least you have a period”…I did not ask any more questions…girl I work with has recommended me to one I have now and I love her…she listens to me and I do not feel rushed…Also if you did not ovulate on 50mg he could have given you a higher dose as that is what I have read on some other posts doctors have been doing…my ob said that if it did not work this month she would up my dose from 50mg to 100mg..I know this email will not make you ovulate but I hope it gives you some support…GL

We talked to our insurance company and they said that it depends on the code. However, I decided to change drs and I go April 10th to another dr. I cannot believe how inconsiderate drs can be with feelings. I took 150 mg and 2,000 mg of met... however after I came home that day I found out I was taking only 1,000 mg of met because the pharmacy screwed up and we didn't notice it lol. I started my period today on CD 36 so I'm hoping the tests were just wrong and I am getting more regular. Thank you for the support, that is something I need; it won't make me ovulate but it does make me feel better.

Hello girls…I guess I am officially in TWW now since my temps have kept going up…my O date was on the 18th according to temp…OPK really did not work for me this month…for example on 16th I have had positive OPK in AM and negative in PM…then on the 18th same thing so who knows…O yea I have went for my blood work yesterday which is early since I was only 3DPO…who new this took so much work…It seems like some people can drink out of the same cup with their hd’s or boyfriends and get pregnant…lol…and ours is turning into a science project…lol…I hope all of you are doing well…BTW I am new to forums and I think I am addicted…lol…I want to thank all of you for all good comments and advice…

How are you guys doing? I don't know how much I will be in the thread because I am starting externship tonight. I will be working 11pm -7am or 9am depends on if I can make it the extra 2 hours. so my sleep schedule will be whacked, I think I'm out this month because I haven't been bding a lot, But it's only CD 18, so we will see. we would bd and 2 days not, the bd, so probably will have to put things on hold until externship is done

I've been pretty excited trying clomid seeing as the dr seems to think it'll give us a BFP quickly.

Does anyone here get a ton of pressure of their families? Like I'm talking about "if it's a boy/girl name him/her this" or "did you have sex last night? we want you to have a baby" stuff like that?
I feel like I have to let SO many people down when I get AF.

Yep. We get Plenty of pressure from our family. Until recently we were often told by DH's family 'when you have a baby .... We'll buy this stuff for you or it'll be like that for you or imagine how tired you'll be when you have a baby, etc etc' (despite them knowing how much trouble we're having knowing about the specialists & medication) it's also enhanced by comparison to dh's brother who has an almost 2yo. Until I got very upset & Dh explained we may never be able to have a child of our own.

How are you? I got my blood work back and my level was a 24 which means i ovulated! AF came april 2nd so I am getting ready to start my next cycle of clomiphene. weird thing is my cycle was only 28 days and I have never had a normal cycle like that. Hope all is well and FX to you all

I got af this morning so I am right behind you! Clomid made my cycle 31 days so it shortened it for me as well since I range 32-42 days. I gotta say that the flow is insane and the cramping is unbearable. I feel like a teenager again. Lol.

Is your dosage the same for round 2? Mine is staying at 50mg.

my dose is staying at 50mg and my cramping and flow is unbearable and heavy. must be a side effect. I'm hoping this round i will get my BFP

Yeah it must be a side effect if we are both feeling the same intensity of cramps and a heavier flow. I really hope round 2 is the month for us! I'm thinking of starting mucinex sooner this time around to make sure I am not as dry as last time down there, even though I use Preeseed. I also hope I don't get side effects this time around either. I guess we will find out, haha. GL!

Hello ladies! Just stoppin in to see how everyone has been? As most of you know, Clomid did not work for me and I switched doctors. I went to my appt today and this dr gave me 3 different options I can try before I have to go fully for injectibles. So, at the end of the month I will be put on Letrozole. Hopefully this will help and I won't have to do much of anything else. I also was instructed to lose weight by cutting pop and adding calcium citrate to my list of meds lol. I feel like a druggie lol. Hope y'all are having a great day and get your BFPs soon!

Hello, I'm new to this.
I'm glad I found something and recent.

Anyways. I had taken clomid about 3 years ago for my daughter. It worked the second month. I was only on 50mg days 5-9.

Now I'm trying for a second and I'm on my 8th month of Clomid.
For the first 6 months the doctor put me on 50mg unmonitored. After 6 months he has put me on 100mg and I go for bloodwork on cd 21. On month 7 my progeserone level was 58, but I did not get pregnant.

I have lost hope. It shouldn't take this long. Why did it work so well with the first but it won't work now? Has anyone had the same experience?

I finished my last pill on tuesday april 10th, started OPKs thursday the 12th(2 days after) - friday the 13th - and saturday the 14th - sunday the 15th - and monday the 16 + and tuesday the 17th +. I see a lot of people saying clomid can give false positives but I didn't get a positive til 4 or 5 days later. I think its safe to say I am Ovulating. I pray to god I am really ovulating because i have this light pain in my left ovary.

Hoping you are ovulating! I got a false positive when I was supposed to be actually ovulating the first time I took Clomid and I didn't ovulate at all. Did you ovulate the last round?
