24 weeks or 6 months? (starting weaning)

Ok I know I'm being pedantic as it's not even 2 weeks difference but which one are you 'supposed' to start? My LO will be 23 weeks next week when I start (can't this week as mid-move!) I know they say 6 months but reading Annabel Karmel says BY 24 weeks- just interested!

Always go by the calendar month instead of weeks. Week is more helpful for when you are pregnant, but as soon as your baby is born, doctors use months. If you think about it, if someone asks you your age, do you say "I'm 28 years 5 months and 3 weeks old"? LOL
