I've just lost my 2nd baby one at 10 weeks and now my little boy at 19 weeks have got his funeral on friday the doctor wont give me tests until i've lost 3 children any one with words of encouragement would be great i dont no if i can feel like this again but am so desperate to be a mom again my little boy is 7..... Keep thinkin it must be something im doin wrong any advice would be greatfully recieved x x

:hugs::hugs::hugs: Oh my goodness, i really dont know what to say, im so so sorry.

I cant beleive they wont test even though you got to 19 weeks! thats crazy. was nothing seen on scans to identify a problem?

Can you speak to someone else?

I really hope when you find the strength to TTC again that you get a healthy baby at the end of it. my friends lost their baby at full term and got pregnant again soon after and have a beautiful daughter now.

I ant imagine what your going through, i lost my baby at 11 weeks and that is hard enough, i hope you get some answers and get the baby you deserve so badly. Good luck hun, sorry i dont have any advice to give xxx

Rach I am so sorry :hugs:

There is nothing that you are doing that is wrong! Lots of women unfortunatly have one healthy baby and then suffer multiple miscarriages. As you were quite far gone with both perhaps it would be worth speaking to someone else for a second opinion? I know that when we had our loss the midwives were fantastic and told me to phone to speak to them whenever I had something I wanted to discuss.

I know it's expensive but perhaps you could look into how much a private consultation with a fertility specialist is? Even if you can't afford private tests they may be able to recommend something for you?

Thinking of you chickadee xxx

I had 4 scans n everyone was fine however i did bleed all the way threw when i coughed or sneezed but the hospital never saw this as a problem even when my waters broke they just talked to me like i hadnt got a clue what was goin on and sent me home they didnt give me a scan when my waters went they just listenend in and sent me home then 2 days later the baby had died.... I am gonna go back doctors and try and get them to do something cause i had a ovarian cyst that ruptured 2 years ago and it poisonend part of my ovary and i had surgery to have it removed just wondering if this has weakenend my cervix or something xx

:hugs: :hugs: I'm so sorry for your loss
My cousin lost her baby at 16weeks and the hospital did tests for her. I wouldn't just let them fob you off hun, you deserve answers if you want them. And I would def ask them about your cervix as that's what I though when you said you bleed when you sneezed/coughed.
Keep your chin up, you will get preg again and have a H&H 9 months :flow:

you should try to speak to them again. I lost my first at 21 weeks and then my 2nd at 11 weeks and we have had tests. Not sure if its cos we both work at the hospital but we just asked and she said yes. We just had blood tests done on me and my husband looking for all sorts of things like lupus, sticky blod, hormone levels etc. But everything came back normal which didnt explain why we lost but they just put it down to bad luck so now we are back ttc again!!!
so you just try to see if they will do any tests at all. Its worth a try!

Good Luck and if you need any more help feel free to message me

Oh I'm so so sorry for your loss, it's just so unfair. I wish you all the strength for your little boys funeral on Friday.

I've had a similar experience just the other way round, my baby boy at 17 weeks in August and now an 11 week loss. Did you have any tests/post mortems done on your lost babies? Our baby boy had a chromosomal abnormality called triploidy and so we have asked for this baby to be tested too...I have a feeling it might be another chromosomal abnormality. When we get these results I will ask our consultant if she feels we could be tested but I know that our baby boy's condition was a random event that took place at conception so basically bad luck  I suppose it depends what results we get this time round.

Take care :hugs:

I am awaiting the results of the post mortem its taking ages though been 11 weeks now.... I've asked the hospital for tests but they have underlined must have 3 losses before they will do testin my gp has refferred me to a gynacologist but he has told me to be prepared for the hospital to decline it, have a appointment on the 17th so fingers crossed. The doctor doesnt think its my cervix because the ovarian cysts apparently shouldnt have affected that. Got my little boys funeral 2morro its gonna be the worst day ever x x x

I'l be sooo thinking of you tomorrow, you never imagine in life that you would have to go to your own baby's funeral, I hope it goes as peacefully as it can do.

As for the results, they do have a habit of taking a while which is an agonising wait in what is already a horrible time. I think it's good that you are being referred to a gynaecologist and hopefully they will be sensitive to your needs. Is it a big busy hospital that you are being referred to? I'm only asking because my consultant is at a smaller hospital and I was (and will be if I get pg again) being seen in her high risk clinic even though meically I'm not actually high risk. My consultant says she is fortunate in that she can see people like me whereas if I was under a consultant in one of the big hospitals in the city they wouldn't have the capacity to see me as I wouldnt fall into their 'statistics'. Also if you are seeing the gynaecologist on the 17th and haven't had the PM results they might be able to hurry them along for you.

Thinking of you and your  tomorrow :hugs:

Rach,
I am so sorry you are going through this, but none of this has anything to do with what you are doing. Miscarraige is a devastating and evil thing that happens to anyone.
Stay strong.
Big hugs xxx

I am so sorry for your losses. I would fight to get testing done, or go to another dr for a second opinion.
