My first was a complete accident.

My second is kinda both, we TTC but were already pregnant when we decided we wanted a baby. So tecnically it was an accident but we look at out LO as we planned.

We as a couple are finacially stable, plan to get married next June ( this was my choice as i want to be skinny and pretty on my wedding day. The OH wanted to get married before the baby) This was a carfully planned decition, although it wouldnt have mattered as 2 weeks before we decided to start trying, we had a condom break on us. (i cannot use oral b/c) But its something we couldnt be happier about, we are more than excited to be adding another member to our family, and we plan on completing our family by the time im 22-23.

ds1 wasn't planned, dd we were very much ttc, ds2 would have been ttc if it were up to me but we were technically ntnp.

We have our own house, both had jobs, I always wanted small gaps, why should that change because Im young, I should add I'm now 22 so not a teen any more

Well this is my first, but one of my friends had two babies by 17. For her I think she just really didn't think it was possible to get pregnant (both times). I'm not sure of the details, but I'm guessing she missed a day of birth control pills or a condom broke. I think a lot of girls who have a 2nd though usually plan for the 2nd.

I was 15 when we fell pregnant with our son, OH was 16 (16 & 17 when he was born). OH got a job as he'd finished highschool by that time and I carried on with my GCSE's, A-Levels and then University. We're in our own home, and support ourselves financially, we have a great close knit family on both sides and generally just go through life like any other settled family unit.

We decided to TTC our second because we wanted to; like any other couple. Our age (20 & 21) wasn't really a factor because we've been living as 'adults' for many years now.

my Daughter wasnt Planned. But very much loved. and as For this Baby we were trying but we werent Preventing. We were Hoping it would happen without trying .

I'm pregnant with my first at 16. I don't like refering to my baby as a mistake or an 'oops' baby. My baby is a welcome 'suprise' and although i am on my own, i know the father does'nt think of our baby as a mistake. My best friend had three by 18, the first wasn't planned but the second two were. She says, of course it's hard owrk but they all have the same father and they are hapily engaged and soon to be married.

my first son was a whoopsy baby lol was on contraceptive injection, second son was planned, and this little princess on the way was another whoopsy baby was on the pill and with being due to have opperation (only week and half after found out i was preg) to have my right ovary removed and half of my left ovary lazered due to severe polycystic ovarys, i never thought id have a 3rd and even though she wasnt planned shes my lil miracle baby xXx

with this baby we were NTNP so it didnt come as a shock to me but both babies were and are very much wanted

and i suppose accidents can happen twice no matter what age you are, wether you are a teen or in you 30's,, the way i see it is if someone really really doesn't want children they would be preventing it and so if the child is an 'accident' then its down to pure carelessness (sp?)

My brother was an accident and my Mum was 28/29 at the time so i'm sure it happens to peope of all ages, annoying how it is made such a bigger deal when people are younger though

Yeah i agree with you about carelessness. If you really don't want a child you will do everything to prevent it x

Yeah i agree with you about carelessness. If you really don't want a child you will do everything to prevent it x

yeh, totally agree, its the same with every subject though, if you under 20 its made out to be 10x worse, tut!! xx

Wow really! I'm guess they changed their contraception after that? I will never use the pill again as it obviously doesn't work for me, and a lot of other people

same,, i was 17 first time round and 19 this time round ,, but they aren't accidents, the first one was a bit shocking as we was using protection but as i said before ....

Yeah i was going to make a thread on this, i don't know about any other methods of contraception other than the pill tbh

after i had my daughter the nurse was talking thorugh contraception with me and said the injection is a good form but one of the side effects is weight gain, which i had heard prior to that but thought it was just an old wives tale

but yeh im deffo gonna give it a good think through

think my mum had a coil after her 2nd ...

i dont like the pill and it doesn't like me much either!​
