Hey everyone. I have two children, but never really paid much attention to signs of ovulation. So yesterday April 30th, I was feeling this full pressure like sort of cramping like pain in my lower abdomen. I don’t know whether it means I was ovulating or what. My husband and I did Baby dance that night at like midnight so technically May1 by times standards. I’m not sure if this was ovulation and my husband and I possibly baby danced right when an egg was released or what. Also if it’s ovulation would I have had to have sex in the day time as opposed to late night. I know this is strange. Another thing I have irregular periods at times although last months was regular 26 days. And based on the Flo app it’s close to my fertile days. Please help me understand. Thanks

Hi! I'm not sure what to say whether it's ovulation or not. Do you usually get ovulation pains? I get ovulation pains sometimes and that usually comes with EWCM, so I know that it's ovulation. But it doesn't happen every cycle, so it's quite hard to gauge. I think it'd be good to read your body for a few cycles, track your cervical mucus, notice any cramping-like pain and if you want, get some ovulation test kits. But I know what you mean. I don't usually track my ovulation either. Other than my 1st child, my other 3 children were conceived quite fast and easily. It's taking me longer to conceive my 5th child now, but it's probably also cos I'm 39. Hahah. Need to be patient I guess.

Hi I’m 42 and ttc and this is my 3rd cycle. The last time we was trying was 2020 and it took 11 cycles to fall with our youngest son. when I was younger I fell so much quicker:
I do get ovulation pain when I’m ovulating but not every single cycle. Most but not all. Last cycle I had terrible ovulation pain but this cycle was just a twinge.
With ovulation pain u normally feel it in one of the ovaries. like the last 2 cycles I ovulated from the left side and this cycle it was the right side. Also u will notice how around ovulation the cm (cervical mucus) becomes very wet and slippery and stretchy like raw egg whites.
not sure if you noticed any of that.
I mean the pain could of been ovulation. Was it felt in the middle or on one side?

It was more like pressure in the lower abdomen in the middle. More so to the right than the left though.

I'm 39 as well. We are not trying, but not preventing. So I'm just seeing what happens.

Does your app have any additional features to help you understand? I use iyoni apps that also offer personalized reports, access to fertility specialists, etc that help my understand my fertility and body.
