4 - 5 weeks - Share symptoms and chat

I am 4 weeks today and thought i would start a thread with other ladies about the same length along to share symptoms, panic attacks and chat. Another lady did when i was last in 1st tri the last time and it really helped to chat with others at the same stage and helped to know other ladies were getting the funny pain, snotty cm ect.

So to kick it off today i had some sickness and my tummy really rolled when i got up so i went back to bed for 1/2 hour and felt a bit better after that. The sickness has now settled down into heartburn and i have some lower back ache which is worse then normal (i have a slight curvature of the spine so my back hurts a bit most days). Also have a few pains which are a bit like AF but just a bit different.

Realised last night as well i have eaten a whole packet of babybells and 1/2 pound of low fat chedder I have been on a diet the last month so it seems my body wanted some extra fat and calcium!!!

hello this is my 3rd pregnancy. I had a loss and then my daughter who is almost 8 months. And got a shocked bfd yesterday. How you feeling?i have no symptons yet. Makes me nervous

Great idea for a thread!

I had some very definite symptoms when I first found out - intense hunger, serious thirst and need to pee ALL the time... Also headaches and nausea, as well as tiredness.

Yesterday and today they have become less so (maybe I am getting used to it?).

But what I do have is an incredible pain in my right ovary - it started only when I was peeing, but is constantly in the background. This morning Mr Windswept rolled over and put his hand on my lower abdomen and I screamed out in pain. It has gone since I emptied my bladder, but it worries me. Doctors took a urine sample on Tues and no results - pretty sure it's a UTI and very worried about what it is doing to my bubba.

Other symptoms I have had on and off are heartburn and irritability.

I have to admit that I do wish I had morning sickness, it would be reassuring!

I did have nausea but seems to have gone last couple of days since the spotting I'd feel better if it returned!

Other symptoms include headache, heartburn, back and neck pain, slightly swollen bbs, sore throat at night time, frequent need to go to toilet but probably checking that there is no blood

Littleblonde - Thats great news about your this is also my 3rd pregnacy so i am hoping its 3rd time lucky for us. I wouldnt worry too much about a lack of symptons its still early days for us all xxx

Windswept - Ouch that sounds like a UTI to me, i am quite prone to them and i hear its very common in pregnacy. Stock up on some cranberry juice and flush it out that might make it feel better x I also get the thirst which means i drink more which means i pee more! Stil it gives me an excuse to carry out a knicker check at the same time.

Foxforce - Have you had anymore bleeding or has it died down now? I know you are still getting a strong line so i think its just bubs settling in for the duration x

Took my bra off last night and DH looked at me all shocked and said 'Bloody hell they are huge!' LOL so i guess i can add swollen breasts to my symptons

Goog Morning ladies I found out yesterday I was pregnant.I was so surprised we have been trying forever it seems like it.But af was due the 19th and I started to spot then it was brown when I wiped TMI sorry.So I made a dr appoinment with my ob because I was worried about my period being so weird and the did a test and it was positive so I had blood work down yesterday and my hcg was in the 300 range which the girl said was low but it is still early.I go back Saturday but I won't know anything until Monday cause my dr. is closed.The sympttoms I have is sore bb's I do have cramping like af is comming and I feel sick but don't get sick and going to the bathroom a lot.

hey girlys great thread.... anyway i'm doing alright alittle i'm about 4weeks but wont know till i have a scan anyway here are my symtoms:

sore boobs sense CD14
feel sick
tired
easy to piss off
belly feels strange
hungrey
back hurts on and off

i had to ring up hubby to get me some cheese last night and omg when he got me a big block i almost had the whole lot lol... anyway in the mid morning i started feeling unwell and i got up and started having the runs... pains in my tummy where i would pull faces at... other then that im alright atm

I'm about 5 weeks along today. Not many symptoms - just cramps and a lot of bloating. I've lost my appetite a bit too.
Yesterday my bb's suddenly got sore too.
I wish I had more symptoms .. I really want to 'feel' pregnant, you know?

Hello all! hope we are all having a good day!! Bored still here and counting down the hours until home time.

Going to ASDA tonight to get some baby asprin i think. Symtons seem to have settled down a bit now just have ichy/heavy boobs and the back ache.

Ohh also lots and lots of CM which scares the crap out of me every time i feel it!. Not called the doctors yet that is my task for next week and will hopefully get an early scan.

bored here too so not the only one.. i have kids home today and next week due to teachers training and what not anyway i went to asda on my birthday (19th) and i was so tempted to look down the baby lane but hubby was dragging me away... i have a question what is baby asprin?

Hey my symptoms are:

Sore bb's
Constipation
Heart burn
Smells that I used to love are now revolting
Used to love salt and vinegar crisps, now it tastes disgusting!lol

Baby asprin is just a low dose 75mg asprin, some ladies with recurrent MC's get told to take it to help with any clotting issues. A few others take it to try and help if they have had a MC but nothing done in the way of testing to see if it helps. I am going to give it a go as it doesnt hurt and might help me keep this bean.

oh i cant take asprin as i have asthma and i have clots on my lungs already so im on blood thinners

Omg I feel really thirsty too! It has sent me into a panic thinking I may have gestational diabetes, is thirst normal?

Feeling tired, some crampiness and some pulling and twinges in my lower belly. Feeling really bloated. No nausea yet. Mostly feeling a lot of anxiety that this bean won't stick. Checking for blood every time I use the bathroom.

Also night sweats - what's this all about? I've never had those before. Not sleeping very well either.

hi girls! got my bfp on wednesday after 18 months of ttc our third with one mc in june!


had no real symptoms apart from sore boobs which i usually get before AF! but they hurt like mad last night and this morning it had dissapeared! but now there sore again !

Hey girls. I am 5 weeks and 1 day. For a few days I had bad MS, and basically puked up everything. Yesterday and today I haven't had any though I've been having a LOT of ligament stretching. Have you ladies been having a lot of cramps, too? I've been having thigh cramps & uterus cramps.
Oh, my biggest symptom is I am SOOOO sleepy. I sleep a LOT at night, and then takes naps in the day. Weird!
