Struggling for ideas! He's car mad but has loads of cars, tracks etc. We don't have room for a ride on.

Yeh anything big is a no no. We just don't have the space. Our garden isn't great for storage either.

The mashers are these you can buy different characters and 'mash' them together by putting armsegs on different ones

I know I'm struggling for a main present this year so I've opted for some smaller main ones so we've got him the teksta dog (got in the very £30 off deal) and think we will get him the batman jail or cave x

DS is a little younger than yours his list is

A dusty for is bath ie one that scoops water
A cabbie from Planes 2
A new game for his leappad

We will add a new Bike But might keep that idea for his birthday
Lego or other construction toy
Books
Snakes n ladders / games.
Planes2 Dvd. If it's out.
Extra junctions for his wooden train set.
A couple of cars
Grannies can get Clothes In the next size up.

At the moment he wants everything he sees but the other day we sat down to write a list and that was all he put on it. Last year I went overboard and their is still stuff that has hasnt been looked at. So seriously cutting back this year.
TBH I wouldn't worry too much about a "main" present. Given at the his age they have no real idea about the cost of things, we are working on it, but their main present is the Top thing they want on their list. DH suggested giving 2 of DS 3 ideas away to the grannies and was told No Way those might not be very expensive £15/22 but they are what he really wants.

his 'big' gifts are the set of toy story toys as those will cost a fair bit

Definately recommend a marble run, my 2 year old and 5 year old play with it for ages when we get it out.
