.....soooo my 12 week scan was pushed back till monday....meaning 13 weeks....sooo nervous....hope all is going to go well....I think I'm more nervous that I changed doctors (a better doc) and with my extra blubber....uggggg I feel they won't see anything..but everyone says they will....monday can't come quick enough!
 
Hun I have a massive overhanging belly - and they always scan underneath it! Even when I had my later scans through my belly further up there was no problems xx

Well here is a 23 week bump ( sorry bout lack of trousers lol and the mess in background). I feel massive!

I feel like this will be such an issue when I get pregnant. :( I worry about it constantly and it almost embarrasses me too much to even want to call the doctor lol. I keep imagining getting to the doctor's office and being weighed, and them saying something rude to me like "Oh god, and now you're pregnant?!". And I keep worrying my OH will be there when I get weighed and he'll see how heavy I am (he knows I am a big, beautiful woman but does NOT know my weight, nor do I want him to know it lol). It makes me sick with worry! :(
 
Don't worry about your OH seeing! If you want, you could have the nurse weigh you and take your BP, then have your OH join you when you go to the little office. :thumbup:
 
I had my 9wk appt today(actually 9+3)! We made it past dreaded week 8!!!! Everything is great!! We saw our bean again! And guess what?! He did the scan external this time and we still saw the baby!! I was very suprised at that being that I am a fairly big girl, so to see its little heart beating with an external at 9wks was very impressive! It was very fuzzy, so I don't have a pic, but we saw its little heart just fluttering away. Still measuring right on track! I am so very relieved!! Next appt is with my high risk specialist on Nov. 9th and hopefully another scan! Lol!
 
I feel this too, i am not pregnant yet but i would prefer my DH not to know my weight, can this be avoided? or do they mark it on your notes? (here in the UK we keep our maternity notes with us). Can i ask to be weighed away from DH?

Hey girls mini update on me. I am now 11lbs from my final target! Hoping to be a UK size 10 for xmas!

Next FS appointment is on the 23rd of this month, hoping I finally get some decisions and help. Clomid is worst case I think, IVF best case.

Still very upset that I am not going to be pregnant for my impending due date at the start of jan. :(

I was weighed in front of dh but he couldn't see the display and the midwife didn't say it out loud. Not that it bothered me if he knew though x
 
...just wanted to say....you guys where right...they were able to do my ultrasound with my blubber....we saw our cute bean at 13 weeks....all is good minus me being so nervous and shy to more my blubber out of the way....lol thanks for the advice! :)
 
Oh...ps....my doc said goal was to gain no more than 15 lbs or so.....how did u guys do? In 3 minths I gained 4 lbs.....
 
I stayed in my "weight gain limit", I was put on a meal plan because they were worried about gestational diabetes (which I did not have) but it was no big deal. And now that I'm bfing, I'm losing weight! :happydance:
 
I'd lost 49lbs by the time I was weighed the day after having Fran! I suffered with morning sickness until 23wks then had heartburn all the way through, so was sick almost every day of my pregnancy. And my appetite greatly reduced, some days I didn't eat because I just didn't feel up to it and when I did I couldn't eat much.
 
Guess who's back? I am on my cell phone and will catch up more tomorrow!!!! Missed all of you

Did or do ay of you use anything for belly support? I am only 10+4 and my belly already feels so heavy and is making my lower back hurt. I am wanting to find something that will lift up my lower belly (apron) and give me support for my back at the same time, but that is also comfy! lol! I know, tall order!
 
Hey ladies, sooo great to see many of you still here and that most of you had your beautiful babies!!! Congrats!!! How exciting! We got married 14 days ago and are waiting for AF to officially start TTC however right now we are until then too ;) When I first joined BB we got through almost 2 cycles of TTC then just NTNP....but I am ready with no more wedding stress on our plate! Everyone getting ready for the holidays? Well I look forward to catching up with you girls and would love for you to post pictures of the babies, take care, ttys
