We started introducing solids around 4 1/2 month. He'll be 6 months on Friday and we've starting him on stage 2, strained veggies and meats. Before he started on solids he was eating about 28-30oz a day. Now I know its normal for feedings to drop but it seems like he doesn't even want his bottle anymore. Today he only had 21oz all day and it felt like I was almost forcing him to drink it. Is that too little formula intake for the whole day? or am I worrying too much? We only do 2 meals a day right now and its usually half to 3/4 a 2nd stage veggie and half of a 1st stage fruit at each meal. Maybe Im giving him too much?

Milk is definitely more important tahn solids at this age so i would consider reducing solids a little until he brings his milk intake up.

I think 'they' say, as long as they are having at least 20ozs, its fine.
