missranda-I can't imagine how discouraged you must feel after three years:-/ I think when you first start TTC, you just assume it will happen for you right away. At least, that's how I was. I had actually just hoped that we would magically fall pregnant while NTNP and not even really have to try. How wrong I was! I hope you get your BFP soon. It's still early!

Luvspnk-congrats! Looks like a BFP to me. Are you having any symptoms, or do you just feel like how you normally do before period comes?

I'm 10DPO today. Was having a lot of cramping, but I think that's normal for me in the TWW. A lot of creamy CM, but I think that's normal for me too. Had a crazy dream last night about going into labor at a Cubs game and having to get an epidural there. lol!

8dpo according to ff.. Think I could be 9dpo. Tested the past two mornings bfn! Just want this tww to be over and for everyone to get bfp!

It took 12 cycles to get pregnant with our daughter, I'd just been referred to the fertility clinic and we got our bfp. My son took us 2 months and I was still breastfeeding dd. This time we started ntnp before my cycles came back, so I suspect the first few were anovulatory.
10 dpo today and no urge to test which is most unlike me, I'm normally a poas addict by now! Sore boobs, af type cramps and back ache. Who knows if it means af or bfp!
Missranda: show us a pic of your test!!! Keeping my fingers crossed for you. X
Mrsstrezy: my friend has super long cycles and she got pregnant quicker than me with my normal regular 28 day cycle. Once your eggy is preggy, the sustaining a pregnancy bit shouldn't be affected by your cycle length x x x

Thank you for the reassurance! I've always worried about my cycle length, but they've been this way as long as I've been having a period, so it's nothing new. The waiting to ovulate thing kinda sucks tho:-/ Most people are already testing by the time I just start to ovulate. Anyway, hope you get your BFP!! Sucks that you had to wait so long for your first, and now are having to wait long again. Obviously you know your body is capable of it, but it just won't cooperatie. How frustrating! And Missranda, I'd love to see a pic of your test also

I have a 14 month old who keeps me busy, and a 3 year old, so don't have as much time to obsess over every little twinge this time! The backache is getting to me a bit though!

My cramps have been really bad today... I didn't take a pic of the test this morning :/ I looked at the test hopefully when I got home from work but I don't see anything. I think it was my imagination haha

That is a crazy dream msstrezy lol. And it does stink to have irregular cycles. I'm on cycle day 88. Which believe or not is nowhere near my longest cycle. But I have pcos so that's why.

I used to get really down about ttc. But this cycle I've decided to force myself to be happy. I refuse to get upset again.

I enjoy reading how you all are getting along. I really hope each of you get your bfp this cycle.

Is it worth going to your dr? Will they still make you wait and try naturally before giving you some help if your cycles are that long? I have poly cystic ovaries and a big mess of adhesions around my right ovary. Don't have pcos though.

Ive been to the doc a few times. They always say they could put me on bc pills. And then I repeat myself about trying to have a baby. Then they just shrug their shoulders. This is a bad area for good doctors...

Oh and I forgot that if I've been having a really long cycle they'll put me on provera to induce menses.

Where abouts in the world are you? They shouldn't leave you ttc on your own for longer than a year.

Yes thats fairly odd that they aren't doing anything to help you missranda. In the states though dont you have the option of paying to see a specialist? In ontario we have to wait 12 months to be referred.. If you get a nice dr and have been temping and ll of that jazz, they might refer you after 6. I have a coworker that went to the states and paid to see a specialist rather then waiting.

I commend you or your positive attitude and not resenting others getting bfp. You have to be a strong and amazing woman or that!

Thanks!!! I've not had any strong symptoms. Nips are a bit sensitive, but not really sore. I think the biggest thing is that I'm HUNGRY!! I am overweight, but because of my IBS, I can't usually eat a lot at once. I've been wanting to snack constantly!! And of course, I've not been craving healthy stuff, lol. I've had buffalo wings twice in 3 days!!!
I am a bit nervous. Had a mmc in January. I honestly didn't think we would get pg again, we've been NTNP. Realized after we dtd that I was o'ing. I pray everyone gets their BFP!!!

I'm probably not asking the right things and I've never thought to get referred to a specialist. I guess I will go back to the doc if this cycle is a dud.
