8 months old and no teeth

My son turned 8 months old On the 14th of this month and he still has no teeth.
I'm ok with it because I'm loving his big beautiful smile withiut them and it will be a whole new smile when he gets teeth.
There is about 4-5 babies in the mom group we are apart of that are his age within days and they all have at least 2 teeth.
So just curious is there anyone's LO that doesn't have teeth yet at 8/9 months old?

I know they are coming his gums are really white and he's teething horribly but just curious.

We're the other end of the spectrum, 8 months and tooth number 8 just popped! Teething is one of the things that varies soooo much from baby to baby though

I don't think there's any standard with the time table for teeth. Every baby is completely different. I have a friend who's baby didn't get his first tooth until 9 or 10 months. My son is almost 10 months and has 7 teeth. (The downside is that he bites and it really hurts!)

My lo got his first tooth at 8 months 3 days then the next week he got the second one and i think i can see the top ones trying to come through now.

My friends lo is a day older than mine and she doesnt have any teeth yet.

Also it didnt change his smile getting the bottom teeth cos you cant see them when he smiles i expect it will change when he gets the top ones!

We will be 10months on 3rd Oct and have 4white lumps with one of them just poking through a tiny bit today. I reckon all 4 will come through pretty quickly now. Bubs was 5weeks premature though.
I read somewhere that's it's hereditary. So if your teeth came early, bubs will too. Dunno how true that is!!

We have zero teeth and zero signs of teething here! My LO is almost 10 months!

My DS1 was 11 months when he got his first tooth. He's now 6 years old and his teeth are showing no signs of wobbling yet.

By contrast, DD was 7 months old when she got her first tooth, and she got her first adult tooth before she was 6.

Kids are very different.

Coming up on 9 months and no teeth here either! I got my first at 9 months and was slow loosing them as a kid too. It's totally normal and I know he will get them at some point. It's hard to not worry sometimes though when I see babies much smaller than him already sporting a few chompers. Although, a friend of mine's daughter just got her first tooth at 14 months!

Paisley didnt get her first tooth until damn near 9 months old...now at 12 months, she has 6 teeth! Dont worry!

Samuel is coming up on 8 months and no teeth. I didn't expect him to get any this early anyway. His brother was 1 before tooth #1 and then they still took forever and a day to come in. I was a late teether myself, so genetics must be a factor for us.

My DD and all my nephews and niece didnt get any teeth until they were over 9months, my cousin was 1, must run in my family lol x
