I'm writing a letter to virgin media asking for a partial refund on loss of services

normally i'd go through customers services but cant be arsed hanging about on hold for ages

this is what i wrote

Dear Sir/Madam
My tv service was cut off due to a technical fault with my box, the socket on the the adaptor snapped off, a common problem with all pace boxes as i was informed by the engineer.

As I was without tv between the dates of 26th of April and the 1st of May I feel that a partial refund is in order.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Yours faithfully

Rob Anderson

i could have been nasty but i feel the nice approach sometimes works better

I'd have just rang through the free 150 buttons LOL

if they keep u on hold for ages and its costs you like £10 you just send you phone bill into their head office and they refund it, we had to do this with orange :headspin:

ur only gonna be refunded like £2 if anything?! is it really worth it lol

Maybe a refund for the stamp & envelope costs lol!!

I wouldn't be too hopeful on them opening it soon nah mind replying lol

theyll probs turn round n say....

well we had an engineer out to you thts £xx.....

for some reason the 151 number doesnt work for us so have th dial the number that charges...
Its worth a try asking. If you dont ask you dont get.

Blame Rob, he said it was 151 no wonder it never worked, muppet!

They will prob accuse you of fiddling with the box  and charge you for the P&P for the letter they send back to you.

If they were gonna do that then engineer would have said we tampered with it...

whered he get the number tht u need 2 pay 4?

cos if it was on the bill its beside 150, as it is on the website

nvr trust a man!!!
