AAHHHH!!!! Why does it keep loading the front page?????

I can't figure out what is going on. The majority of times when I go to a thread or post (anywhere in BnB) it loads the page then instantly jumps to the front BnB page and loads that! Before I can even read anything. If I try to go back, it does the same thing. Getting here to ask nearly did my head in. I clicked Forum Help, it loaded the board then jumped right back to the front page and reloaded itself 4 times before it stopped! The only way I could get here was to carefully hit the "X" to stop the loading after a page loaded but before it could jump on its own again.

This started yesterday, but was spotty. It's gotten really bad today.

What the heck??? I can't use the site like this.

No other issues have been reported. Wht device are you experiencing this problem on?

It was on a tower PC running IE. I don't seem to be having the problem this morning. Hopefully it has sorted itself out.

Bah! It started doing it again yesterday. I don't know... it seems to happen randomly and only on my work PC. I have a MacBook Pro with Safari at home and never have the problem. Which means it is probably on my end and has something to do with how IT has things set up??? I don't know!

Thanks, Wobbs. If it helps at all, it seems to start happening AFTER I've been on the site for a bit. I don't know if it is a time thing or a certain number of views thing. But I'll be going along just fine in the morning for a bit then it starts happening and then it is all over until the next day. Almost like it resets itself overnight??? Weird.

In the morning (8 am PST or so), but that may just be coincidence? I usually log on to BnB early in the morning and do a bit of catch up. I don't really log on for the first time in the afternoon, so I wouldn't know if it would be the same in the afternoon or not.

I don't have any problem (thus far) on my MacBook Pro at home regardless of the time of day.
