Absent periods....not pregnant. Anyone else?

I am only on month 3 (officially) of TTC but it feels like so much longer! As soon as DH and I decided to actively start trying, my periods completely disappeared I've now missed 3 and i'm definitely not pregnant. I feel so frustrated!!

DH thinks it's stress, but i've been way more stressed than this before and not lost my periods! Doc also thinks it could be down to codeine in the painkillers i've been taking. Waiting on blood test results.

Anyone else experienced this? I could do with some words of advice! I'm dinking parsley tea to try and jump start things again

Hope your okay! My periods have never been regular and have periods of being on lots and then going a few months without them. I think you still can ovulate and not have a period?? ... Hope the docs help also what about doing something relaxing for yourself like yoga? Or take a test whenever i take a test thinking in pregnant i come on the day after lol! Xx

Hi Laura, I'm having same problem. Since stopping pill my periods have got further and further apart 28, 44, 39, 54,64,67, now 85days has passed. I'm now a year on from starting ttc.
I was always really regular before Bc pill.
Have u just come off contraception? because it is the norm to wait upto 6mnth without af... So wouldn't worry too much. Hope things get sorted for you soon x

Hun I know ur frustration!!! But try not to stress, this affects ur cycle.... I'm 87 days n not preg... Trying to keep positive is hard at times.. If my af doesn't come by nxt week I'm going to the docs!!! i can't keep waiting this long for a cycle..

I've always been irregular

When I mean irregular I mean I only get 2 or less in a year. I'm starting to freak out but my GP said I have to TTC for a year until she can DO anything. That made me so upset!

Hi ladies, thank you for the replies! It's good to know i'm not the only one in this boat!! I'm on CD95 now, unbelievable!!

I had bloods done and hormone levels came back fine although they can't tell me if i'm ovulating or not. I've been referred to a specialist clinic so should be having an appointment there in a few weeks

ARRRRGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH I just want to be pregnant!! I really want this to happen naturally and not have an assisted conception! After years of trying not to get pregnant why is my body suddenly not even giving me a chance!?
