How did your scan go hun?

I'm going for an 8 week scan in 2 weeks and I think they'll say I'm not as far as I think, only by a few days though. I'm going for a scan to check if I am carrying one or two babies, twins are a high possibility (eek)

Well I had a scan just now as I had brown spotting over the weekend and baby's fine, I'm 6w1d baby is 0.55cm and heart beat was 122bpm. Just waiting to see the doc and see what he says about the brown spotting. xx

If its brown spotting that means old blood so is generally nothing to worry about (from what i remember) Its red blood thats more concerning.

They've put me pack to 7w1d now.

Ye they said 50% of women get it, still a little worrying though when it's your first. They said to go back if I get it again. Better to be safe.

Sorry for not replying missymoo my scan went well saw a baby,sac,yolk and heartbeat Im now 7 weeks and waiting for my app at flinders *sigh* Sept 7th is sooo far away. So worried about miscarriage still especially the missed miscarriage ...My nausea has settled down today yay! was getting it hardcore for a few days there.

My appointment at Flinders is the 5th September. I didn't know they don't do first trimester scans there (it's so different here to the UK, the doc does it all for you) So I've also book my down syndrome blood test and 12 week scan for the 5th Sept too.

I share your worry about miscarriage ... I try to not think of it, I keep telling myself I WILL be one of the lucky ones that carries their first baby to 40 weeks!! We'll both look back at this in a few weeks and wonder what we worried about I think I'll relax more after my 12 week scan and then when I reach the second trimester !! Roll on 7 weeks hey !

When I had my scan on Monday they couldn't find the baby, worried us but they did an internal and there it was .. I have a tilted uterus. I keep watching bringing baby home , makes me so excited !!

I've felt terrible for the past week where I could actually break down and cry, felt better yesterday but I was so busy at work I think it took my mind off it but then started with sickness today, hardly eaten just can't stomach it and keep heaving I also get really bad shakes and really weak and faint if I don't eat every 2 hours ... have you had this? I find it so difficult to eat every 2 hours but boy do I feel horrible when I don't.

Wow I didn't realise there were so many people from my home town on here hi I see you are all at flinders too congrats to those of you who have got your bfps I'm cd2 again lol 13 months of trying and now I'm at the flinders repromed trying to hopefully get my bfp very soon Fxd but when I do I would be happy to have a student midwife so I'll let u know if I get my bfp soon good luck to u all x

My appt is on the 9th Sept Not much longer to wait thou yay!!

Ugh to sickness! *massive hugs to you* I have be lucky in that my sickness didn't really take hold for very long. I would just try to eat crackers when you can just to keep ur sugar levels up and keep the shakes to a minimal.

Where'd you have your scan? Are you having the NT scan?

I felt really down yesterday and i really wanted to have a scan done but i doubt they will let me If you want i can pm you my facebook details if you use facebook and we can chat more especially if your feeling sad and depressed.

Anyway hope your feeling good today

Hi

So good to hear your feeling better! How was your apt at flinders? and the scan?

I was very disappointed with flinders actually. I have had 2 births and pregnancies at womens & childrens so flinders is very very different for me. Went to my apt yesterday and was told i have to see a Dr rather than midwives which im very angry about and its only because of my BMI My next apt isnt till 18th Nov when im 22 weeks which is odd because at W&C you got seen every 4 weeks. I do however have my 18-20 week scan 1st nov but it seems soooo far away.

I had the nt scan yesterday too which was great! got to see bubby kicking and jerking around. Im now measuring 12+4 which i thought i was just 12weeks. Heartbeat was 177bmp
