Ladies, can you give me some advice/recommendations on what kind of pregnancy tests to use? I have always used FRER but I HATE them with a passion. Every single cycle I swear there is always the faint of faint lines appearing so I freak out and buy a digi and more tests only for it to be not the real thing. I used to "watch" it as it would absorb and I would always see the line appear for a split second but now I don't even look until it's time, and I still see that faintest of faint line, it's to the point I think it is an imaginary line and I see it through my imagination. What are the best kind to use that will leave me with no benefit of a doubt? Cause I am sick of these FRER. Suggestions? What do you use?

I honestly don't think the perfect test exists, although I think some are better than others. For ICs, I think Wondfo's are pretty good. Every now and then a bad batch goes around, but when they are 50 tests for $15, you can keep taking them without stressing about money. I'm with you on FRER. I eventually *always* get a second pink line on them...either in the time period or after...all have been evaps. Blue dye tests are pretty much always horrible! I wouldn't trust them unless the second line was thick and insanely obviously blue! If you have to tweak it or hold it up to the light to see the line, count it as negative.

I've sort of come to the conclusion after all of this time that it really isn't about the second line as much as it is about progression. Stick to one brand per cycle and test daily. To me, those super light pink lines everyone gets at one time or another really don't mean anything unless they progressively get darker. Super light lines that stay the same for a week are probably just early appearing evaps or a bad batch.
