Ahh I just ate some food that contained red wine! I realised before I finished it, but what should I do? Feed him as normal, or use formula?

The alcohol in food is usually cooked out. Even if it wasn't, such a minute percentage reaches breastmilk, so it shouldn't be a cause for concern.
Your liver will filter that right out.

Feed as normal, no worries :)

Thank you! He's just woken up and is hungry so thanks again for your speedy response! x

Please let me reassure you that there is no harm through eating food containing alcohol whatsoever. You can actually drink whilst breastfeeding without ill effect. The main danger would be if you were actually drunk - in handling the baby as apposed to the effect on your milk. (I'm sure none of us would handle the babies if we'd had a lot to drink but rest assured that your milk will not be affected.

The red wine in the food will be burnt off in the cooking process. Your LO will be absolutely fine, don't worry!
